I think tonight Capela would've made a difference. As soon as Dwight sat down San Antonio smelled blood in the water every time and would pull away with a lead until they blew the game wide open. Capela is better than Dorsey RIGHT NOW

Because McHale's a set in his ways sum are. Plain and simple.

Just like last year, he will be the main reason we lose. Can't coach worth a damn and the league lick their chops for him.

Morey gives this guy an extension, makes Morey look moronic and sneaky, I'll never forget how Morey slipped mcfails extension through the back door while Rockets nation were in jubilation over the josh smith signing.

That move set us back a couple years and will waste Hardens best years, I hope Im wrong but McHale is horrible.

Yes. Multiple things can turn momentum. Your point?

I like Capela a lot, but he needs to bulk up to get minutes at the backup 5. 5s will just move him around, even with his length. He's too soft right now.

Then again, that may be a risk worth taking over Dorsey.

We have no other choice but to play him. I admit I am worried that he may get hurt in the playoffs, but he doesn't play soft despite being very light.

I hope he will do well.

He's the only other tall guy on the team with the length to compete with the big dudes of the west. McHale is a straight up idiot and should have played him and even more so with no Dmo available.

The Toronto game gave us a glimpse of what he is capable off. I am all for giving him a chance, despite my concerns about him. I wasn't happy about him being benched after the Kings game, despite his terrible free throwing.

Pretty sure his point is that there are multiple threads where the majority of people seem to be placing the blame for this loss on the fact that Dorsey got significant minutes. I'd say defensive rebounding (Dorsey actually outrebounded our entire PF rotation) and the lack of offensive production from Jones, Terry, and Brewer are the primary culprits here.

We are doomed because hack a Rockets center will undoubtedly be our Achillles heel (5-10 ppt) + we are down a dmo (15 ppg). We could be conceivably have a 12-25 point handicap per game. Shut down Harden we screwed.

Tarik Black would be nice right about now. I understand we couldn't just waive Dorsey, but I thought Black played well with James. Not to mention, he was a rookie and McHale played him after all.

Actually as someone has pointed out, we just need to switch Dorsey and Dwight. Play Dorsey early while the opponent is not yet in penalty, then go to Dwight to end quarters. Of course now they hack Dwight, but Dwight at least hits his fair share of FTs.

He has mid-range shot, and made 60% of his ft's in DLeague

Capella has two things going for him, rebounding and blocks, he is really really bad at everything else. Like worse than Dorsey bad at everything else. Terrible rotations, zero passing once he gets the ball just really lost out there.

Dorsey has a pathetic .506 TS% but Capella is rockin a jaw dropping .254 TS%

Dorsey has a pathetic 11.27 PER but Capella again is way worse at 4.57

As many boneheaded plays as Dorsey makes, Capella makes that many more.

Neither is a great option, but right now Dorsey is the lesser of two evils. Capella looks like he is going to be a player in the future, but it's wayyyyy to early for him.

Is it a "thing" to add extra "l" or ''p'' in Clint Capela's last name?

I don't care if McHale plays Dorsey or Capela (I much prefer Capela and he has the potential to be a decent FT shooter), but the main thing is DO NOT LET THEM FINISH THE QUARTER! The rotations need to be set where Howard is in the game when the Rockets are shooting free throws on every foul, not Dorsey, and not Capela!!

The last time Capela came into a game he was immediately hacked, missed both free throws and was pulled. This will be his life in the NBA unless the rule changes. It's in his head and every team knows. He can ONLY play when the team is not in the bonus.

McHale and Co. need to realize that they cannot have Dorsey or Capella on the floor when it's bonus time.

Capela might be what and what with Dorsey.

However capela getting experience is what should tip the scales in his favor.

Dorsey's +/- for the season is +49 which works out to +0.8 /game.

    http://www.sportingcharts.com/nba/stats/individual-player-plus-minus-statistics/2014/

Last season Asik's +/- was +1.2/game. D-Mo was at +0.8/game last season too.

Since +/- is affected by the players that you play with and those that replace you, the numbers can be misleading at times.
