Does anyone else feel like there is something very wierd about this situation. The man posts pics of himself working out and then says he is done for the season. I would like to know what is really wrong with his back. Part of me wonders if mchale told him that he would be coming off the bench as a back up center and refused to take upon the role.
My "Cubans and military industrial complex on the grassy knoll" theory involved the Rockets not playing Dmo because he would be packaged with Ariza and Kpap for Kevin Love, and the Rockets preferred crapping on this season rather than the next....four, five seasons? I know, I know, complete crap. But this whole thing is more than a little weird, so I have to wonder, WTF?

From LT press - DMo will have surgery, out 3-4 months. I'm sad and mad. Horrible. I know sports injuries. Can only hope for modern medicine. DMo is a big dude, man, that totally sucks
Damnit, he finally broke through and at the moment we could use him the most, he goes out. The NBA is just beyond stupid, why the **** can teams not get injury exemptions and sign players who will be eligible for the playoffs??
I strongly believe that NBA needs a little changes to lower pressure in regular season. There are kinda too much games played in regular season. At least this is what I think about NBA. Just look how many players always go out after regular season just because of injuries.
Why? Because the team lost its third best PF? If the Rockets are not going anywhere without DMo, they are not going anywhere with him, either.

Carl your such a hater man, Dmo and Bev are vital pieces in our rotation and u just crap all over our players like their nothing. Dmo in his first season getting real minutes playing on the block was at times our second best player.He was critical to us when Howard and Jones were out, to act like he's nothing is bizzare.
