I think the dolphins defense is pretty good. They need weapons on offense. DGB or Gurley

Might be early but that's two in a row, so go for it.

I mean there is Jalen strong too. DGB may fall further with off field issues

Is anyone interested in Washington's 2016 1st round pick for a top 20 pick this season? (yes I'm trying to wheel and deal )

RickSmith - I like the Peat pick. Just curious who you were referring to as an "unrealistic" pick due to Uncle Bob? Gregory?

I would assume he meant Gregory.

You guys are correct. I feel like McNair was hinting at it when he made the comments about weed users.

Everybody knows Gregory won't get past the Bengals at 21 IF he manages to slide that far. Marvin Lewis will take him in a heartbeat.

Ehh, I'm more of a give me rookie impact and learn now kind of guy rather than a sit and wait successor kind of guy. I can't say i'm a fan of the Peat pick tbh, while I understand the future potential later down the line. That being said, I would have just traded back or drafted Landon Collins or DGB.

Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, or even Maxx Williams might have also been better picks imo.

I briefly considered Gurley since Arian could possibly be a cap casualty, and/or fall apart in the next year or two, but I value a tackle over anything else other than QB. Duane Brown is still very good, but it looked like he took a small step back last season, and I'd hate to see what would happen if he got hurt.

Gurley would have been a good pick no doubt, but if not Gregory, then I had to go with Peat.

Texans need OL depth badly. Peat can step in now and provide that at Tackle or Guard.

I am all for trading back in this draft an accumulating more picks...but easier said than done. If we trade back in the first I would still target someone like Cameron Erving who provides great versatility on the OL this year, and becomes your long term answer at C

To your picks, Collins has been pegged as a box safety who is weak in coverage. Doesn't sound like that offers much more than what we already have in Swearinger.

DGB is another unlikely character guy. And with the depth at WR in this draft you will still have strong options available in the 3rd.

This year's WR crop is very interesting. Parker has the best hands. Cooper runs the best routes, White has the best size/speed combo. Then you have guys like Strong, Perriman, DGB who are considered below the top 3 who all have good traits but some question marks. Then you have speedy deep threats Phillip Dorsett and Devin Smith who can really stretch defenses.

Of all those guys I'd say DGB is the only one who has real superstar potential. Kind of reminds me of Dez Bryant / AJ Green, but missing a season and off the field concerns have destroyed big time talents before.

Amari Cooper has been compared to Marvin Harrison, but he isn't going to reach those kind of numbers without a Peyton Manning at QB. I see him developing into a great possession receiver who uses his precise route running to convert third downs. Mayock compared him to Torry Holt and I like that comparison and think his career will be similar to Holt's.

As far as White / Parker goes, I actually have favored Parker over White since back in January and I haven't changed my mind based on White's combine performance. I still think Parker has better hands and can go up and get the ball with the best of them. The only concern I have with Parker is his health. White definitely has all the physical tools but he only really put it all together for one season and that is a little scary.

San Diego happily takes Gurley as they badly need a feature back.

I'm not going to lie though, I was secretly hoping Peat would have been available for Coach Kubes and myself in Denver. Would have been the perfect addition for the zone-blocking scheme we are trying to incorporate up here. Back to the drawing board I guess lol.
