Noticed that as well... but Clyde was calling more games back then, so he was likely more of a "fan". Nowadays, I'd be surprised if Clyde showed that sort of emotion. He was also probably "closer" to that team because of his connection with Adelman.
are the Spurs gonna be missing Tiago splitter? I think without him they have no frontcourt depth. We should be able to control the paint with dwight and Terrence jones. Hopefully we can get papa back for the 2nd game at least. I just can't see them beating us.

So if we win this one...we're pretty much looking at being 2nd? Spurs would lose a whole game toward catching us and Memphis is playing quite a difficult schedule compared to how they are playing lately.
But they have to take care of the ball and make their free throws. They should've won the last game they played in San Antonio, but they were terrible in those two areas.
I just want the win. But if Splitter ends up being out, it'd be nice if we can beat our current record of 3 consecutive alley oop dunks/lay-ins from last game. "Run it again!" Dwight is playing above the rim comfortably again. He just needs to keep those knee pads on!

I think we're a tough matchup for Spurs. Warriors don't have the front court like we do. This has always given the Spurs trouble. Hopefully Howard can delive big
Spurs are the hottest team in the league. The last two games were huge wins, but this game will tell me a lot about this team. We should at least split these next two games against them.

Pop will want to Hack A Dorsey, Howard, Capela in this game if we are up in the 3rd or 4th quarters. Hope they get some extra practice in on the FTs. In a game like this and even Friday, the amount of FTs made will probably decide the game.
practice? that's not going to help them, they've been practicing all year. it's mental. capela isn't a 0% free throw shooter in any other league.
