Damn this was a nice win. Now we get a well deserved day off LOL

I'm glad Hinch just let Sipp pitch a freaking inning instead of playing stupid games. Good to have multiple reliable arms.

    As for Keuchel..regress this biznatches

Yay.... Hopefully sign of things to come. Well... not the lack of hitting, but timely hitting I'll take. Keuchel dishing it- so beautiful to watch.

Keuchel was masterful, great to see our studs Altuve and Springer come through and give us the lead. Great job from the bottom of the lineup to help push across another in the 8th too. Great job by Sipp & Gregerson. Great win all around!

Nice to have a bullpen this year after having the worst in all of baseball last yr.

    4.90 era (last in majors)
26 blown saves (last in majors)

Crane is definitely smiling after this one!
Couple of really nice plays in LF. Excited to see the defense from our outfielders when they run out Rasums-Marisnick-Springer.
    Keep Houston beard!
What a fool! Kid Keuchy really does have the bulldog lefty vibe going. Love it!!

    Go 'stros!!

With Singleton being sent down, this should be the regular OF no matter what.

Carter/Gattis/Castro can all take turns being the DH, filling in the corresponding open spot as needed.

Is this possibly the best defensive Astros outfield since the late 70's??? There isn't a weak link in the bunch.

Huge rockets fan. Big texans fan. But im an astros fan at heart.

Houston can be such a great baseball city, and we're well on our way. With a solid draft class coming in this year, the future is looking brighter, and more stable, than I can remember. Luhnow's plan is looking solid.

I loved kid kuddy's reference to how they're just trying to get back to the 04, 05 teams. Not to overreact--we will surely lose as the season continues--but we're going to put the baseball world on notice, one team at a time.

So proud of the way the team played today. Dallas was simply amazing, and we made the most of it when we finally got some runners on base.

Like Dallas said in his interview, Valbuena may have had the play of the night. It would have been second and third with no outs if he doesn't snag that ball. Would have changed everything that inning.

Also, it may not seem like much, but I felt really well about how Carter swung the bat tonight. Yes, he ran into a few bad habits on the outside sliders, (that pitch was getting everyone else as well), but what got my attention was him taking the outside pitch and going to right center with it instead of trying to pull it. He had another hard hit ball as well, just right at someone though, so that was encouraging to me.
