With all of Howard, T-Jones, DMo and Josh healthy and in shape, how do you think our bigs rotation will look like come playoff time?
Would DMo return to the starting 5 next to Howard? It seems to me that both he and Josh can play well next to Dwight with their floor spacing and above average passing for their position.
Assuming then that we start with DMo and Dwight, and that McHale would like to give Josh and Dwight some playing time together (and yesterday's game proved how well can they play together on offense), how and when does TJ fit in? Obviously he has been playing well and will get his minutes, I was just wondering in what lineup. Any thoughts?

For PF it's gonna be who is plying the best that game. Jones will probably start. DMo and Smith with back up Jones and Howard. Still see Dorsey getting 5-10 minutes each game. I think Each big will play about 30 minutes each game though. At least for the first round of we face dallas.

I doubt Dorsey will get minutes after DMo is back, unless Dwight is in foul trouble and DMo can't guard opponent's big.

I 2nd this. Harden needs all the scoring from the 4/5 spot he can get when defenses pressure him in the playoffs. Dorsey's lack of offense (and FT ineptitude) should keep him glued to the pine

As for who starts, my money would be on TJ. Once again, a viable scoring option off the bench (DMo) is extremely important.

You and most basketball fans underestimate the power of a rebound. Depending on what we need, Joey will play.

If DMo is going to come off the bench, I don't see much problem of rebounding for DMo and Smith against 2nd tier bigs of the opponent teams.

Of course, it all depends on match-ups.

If Dorsey is getting minutes when the other 4 bigs are healthy, we are not allocating our big man minutes properly.

Considering we probably won't ply Terry and Prigs too much though, if there's backcourt foul trouble, I'd see Jones or Smith playing SF. Especially if we need to go big.

There are 96 minutes between the C and PF.

    PF: Jones (20) Josh (20) DMo (8)
    C: Dwight (32) DMo (16)

Great thing is we have the best big man 4 deep rotation in the ENTIRE league. Our bigs can play aggressively and not worry about the fouls knowing that our other versatile big men can stand up and fill in adequately.

We're likely going 9 deep in the playoff rotation overall with Prigs, Brew, SMith and DMo off the bench and JET, James, Trey, TJ and Dwight starting.

We are up there, but Chicago has us beat:

    Pau/Noah/Mirotic/Gibson

    Also Spurs are pretty versatile:

    Duncan/Splitter/Diaw/Baynes

I'd be shocked if Dorsey gets regular minutes.

Mchale liked less people in the rotation, not more.

He's been playing well lately though. But he'd still probably rack up minutes due to foul trouble and garbage time.

No Capela? Is he too busy getting "sexed" like Mutombo?

My only question is, Who want to sex Capela?

But in all seriousness, who can play back up Center better? Jones/DMo/Smith? I doubt it matters as we'll typically run small ball once Howard sits, but I think Jones/Smith play better post defense. DMo is taller, but <<< Defense/Rebounds.

i liked what i saw from Josh and Howard pick & roll yesterday, i'd like to see more of that than dwight post up in the playoffs, we should play DH like we are using him now

So based on your numbers, you see Jones and Smith playing 30 minutes per game at SF, when they have played basically 0 minutes so far.
