The west has gotten better every year since mchale and we gotten better. McHale isn't the coach of the year by a stretch but he's underrated on this board and is just an easy fall guy.

Wait? Mismanagement? The only times he played him when he was already in foul trouble he either avoided getting the next one or it was too late in the game to sit him anyway.

McHale will be outclassed against any coach the Rox possibly face in the playoffs. Like I said earlier in this thread, its just a helpless feeling being a fan of this team at this point with McHale as coach. Aside from the injuries, which are huge as well, McHale is just too much to overcome. His sticking with Dorsey, not trying Johnson on Parker who was killing us, etc was key for the Spurs taking all the momentum.
agreed completely. i expect us to bounce back friday though. playoffs are going to be frustrating. we all want the mavs but carlisle is heads and shoulders above mchale. not to mention, rondo turns into point god mode in the playoffs. prigioni needs to start and terry needs to just play spot minutes. mcdaniels/johnson should have been getting more burn after bev went down since james really plays PG anyways. i really hope we k-pap gets minutes in these upcoming games. will need him at the stretch 4 cause there is no way dorsey should be getting PT in the playoffs.
If Mchale really thinks he can stick with a PG rotation of Jet and Prigioni, he needs his head checked. Want to know why we got beat to all the lose balls? We have corpses out there at PG. Throw Nick in there and he will at least mix it up on defense a little.
