Not sure but I saw a tweet that said even though Harden outscored Russ by 1, the differential went from .05 to .02 because Russ has less games played.

Westbrook might retake scoring title after the 40 point game. Hardens 41 has less weight because of his near 400 point lead on total points. How freaking sad is that?

They should really change the scoring title rules and give it to the player with the most points at the end of the season.

I agree. I don't care if a player can just chuck for the scoring title. At least give it to the guy that has literally put up almost 400 most points than the next leading scorer? Holy sh**

This whole time I thought the scoring title was most points? Is it really by PPG? WTF

Yes. Which is why Westbrook was able to come in mid season after injury and take himself to the top so quickly.

Not fair. Kobe would fire him if he said anything else.

LOL, he definitely doesn't bite the hand that feeds! Byron Scott will do anything to avoid being fired from the Lakers, he will tote the company line until the day he is eventually replaced with a real head coach.

So someone could play 1 game in a season and drop 40 points and win the scoring title? ok

I honestly didn't know it was decided by PPG until today lol

Of course not that's silly. A player has to play in 70% of their teams games.

The difference here being that it was Hubie and Tirico commenting on the results the first time and then Jalen and co the second time. Two different sets of "analysts".

The thing you guys are forgetting is that people like Skip have gave Harden plenty of love to. You can be upset at what he said after the Kings game, but what he said doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. He has been more positive than not. Same thing with Jalen.

Of course there's a bunch of minimums that go into whether or not you qualify

But 14+ games of putting up .02 less points and putting up a combined 400 more points throughout the season and then not winning the scoring title is, in my humble opinion, unfair lol
