ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK the rim. Kanter has no interest in protecting the basket or playing any sort of defense. OKC has zero shot blocking with Serge out.

Whats more important... retaining the better pelicans pick or potentially finishing 3rd in the west??

I'd rather have the pick and end up 6th or 7th, then end up 3rd playing SAS or LAC with the Pels in the playoffs.

Losing this game means a real chance to end up in 6th. If we want to keep NOP out of the playoff, we can just beat them next sunday.

I don't really understand why people would want to punt on this season in order to improve a draft pick from 18 to 14.

I'm on the fence.. Don't know if it would be worth the game tomorrow, but my confidence in OKC is diminishing

I think we are going to slaughter them.

Put Ariza on him and let one of the PG's stay in Morrow's pocket.

I have faith that our defense can limit the Westbrook/Kanter PNR.

They are not deep enough to beat us.

I hope we do.. Just hope it doesn't cost us 5-6 spots on the pick

I think we might wanna rest some guys tomorrow, lose to OKC, and then beat the Pels.

I really wish people would stop with this tanking talk. What happens if we intentionally lose to OKC and then drop the next two games against the Spurs? Then we could wind up as low as 6th and still facing San Antonio or LA only now without home court. And the Pelicans could still make the playoffs regardless.

Screw the pick. Just play every game to win.

Yeah seriously.... Knowing Morey, I'm sure he can draft a good prospect whether he has the 14th or 19th pick. OKC has plenty of games to lose in the rest of the season, but its not going to be against us!

win every game this teams need the momentum it can get heading into the playoffs as it gets as healthy as possible. national TV - rockets have to win -- Dwight should be playing more minutes so it would be good to see him get into a rhythm with the guys out there.

it sucks that it may hurt our pels pick - but i dont care - even if its like 18/19 as a result the draft is a crap shoot and the player Morey wants could fall to him there -- nothing is certain there -- playoff position and momentum are far larger and more important in the near future.

If this was the last game of the season and OKC needed to win to get in - thats one thing but both Pels and OKC have enough games left where OKC can still make it in - no need for Houston to "lend help" so early.

Looking forward to seeing Dwight get more minutes Sunday

Bracing myself for a terrible game from Harden. Coming off the weekend, primetime game. Eek.

Harden averages 31.4 ppg with a TS% of 62.9% on Sunday this season.

His worst day of the weak is Saturday, 23.6 ppg on 56.4% TS.

Lots of idiots saying idiotic things both in the media, and on this board. You don't punt a game in a special season like this, and James Harden has been fantastic both on Sundays, and on national TV.

The Rockets must continue to win or face a huge drop in the standings. Just the way it is.
