Exactly. Almost all players that have been asked, plus any analyst who uses anything other than the eye test say it's Harden. The only people saying it's Curry are the ones who rely on SportsCenter highlights for their basketball opinions. Unfortunately, that makes up about 80% of the country.

Man. Having visited other fan gatherings other than Clutchfans I'm pretty discouraged to think Harden has a shot at winning MVP. People are just all over Curry for reareasons I don't understand. Its crazy what media can do to people who aren't capable of creating an opinion gr themselves. A small part of me says that Harden could score 101 in a game but people would be like "jus a ball hog who doesn't play defense and got 80% of those points on FTS" (which they wouldn't research, they would just assume. Pretty crappy I want Harden to win and if he does I'm going to be ectastic
"The Warriors are so historically great that Curry deserves the MVP." or "James Harden is the reason why the Houston Rockets are able to compete for a 2nd seed amidst all the injuries." What sounds like best best Most Valuable Player case? I swear, some of these ESPN NBA "experts" are so full of themselves and their own agenda that they don't even realize when they make contradictory statements.

If Harden can get us the second seed in the west and the 3rd best overall in the league, it's his MVP. The tide has changed to his favor. The gossip has been that he deserves it because he didn't have much help while getting such a good record for the Rockets. Now, if we finish poorly, that sentiment will go away as quick as how it came. You love commentators, like high school gossip girls.
I would be incredibly, incredibly shocked if Curry doesn't win it. I obviously don't think he should, but I have a hard time seeing it going any other way.

Curry is going to win Everyone is nut hugging him and he has a bunch of teabaggers all over the media
I love that Strauss' only argument for Harden that he could possibly conceive of was playing more minutes. He was just stunned that anyone could even consider another candidate.
As Morey said, max salary guys are the biggest bargains because they would make a lot more if there were no maximum contract. Lebron, Durant, Davis, Harden are the best contracts in the NBA. What's funny is Curry doesn't even make close to the max.
Harden is gonna win. I haven't heard anyone that matters say Curry is MVP. people with votes are already saying Harden.
