Harden's body of work speaks for itself. Dwight has been injured but he hasn't carried his own weight much less a team's since he came to the Rockets. He had a good playoff series against Portland but BOTTOM LINE..his $21 mil has been a poor investment. Let's see what happens for the rest of the year. Again, there is no playoff games to play in if not for Harden. He HAS hoisted the team on his back while Dwight's been sitting on the bench. If you reverse roles, Dwight can't do that. Do we need Dwight ? Absolutely. Indispensable ? Nope

    They didn't tank.

They lost Parsons and the Rockets made corrections in the second half. In the first half the Rockets really struggled with the Mavs active bigs (a problem we have had all season). In the second half the Rockets countered with long and active wings that ran and wrecked havoc against the Mavs.

The Rockets really wanted this one, it was circled and played up by the frontal office and our coaches. It was a good gut check win. The Mavs have had difficulty with us when we make counters this season.

I don't blame the Mavericks for preferring to face us over Memphis. Still reading what the Mavs have said and watching them, I don't think they expect to get far in the playoffs, there is a sense they are just playing out the games.

Will get some needed rest before OKC and before the Spurs game. I am hoping Kostas and DMo are back by the Spurs games.

Not a poor investment when he showed up when the bright lights came on. That's what matters. Again you're just stating the obvious concerning harden but the point was the rockets aren't a legit finals contender without Dwight. Injuries are unfortunate but were lucky enough to have everyone back with the exception of pb of course for the playoffs.

The Rockets have a big advantage heading into the playoffs when they get DMO back. This team has played soooo many different lineups during the year and won games it's gonna be interesting to see how we play in the playoffs when DEFENSE MATTERS

D-mo playing in this game would have meant no Dorsey. Dorsey had a very very bad first half. It would have made all the difference in the world.

Oh really lol? I actually missed the game but ellis? That's desperate..... Its kind of sad that Dallas has yet to accept that its a new era..... They dominated The Rockets for a while but things have started to shift..... Sucks to be on the losing end.... Its their turn now.....

I don't care how you want to rationalize not believing.

    I don't care if people don't believe.

It's just from the way I look at it, it's like this. The Rockets will either win or lose a game. They are the team I've been a fan of for my whole life. They've come back against odds time and time again.

If I believe in them to come back and and win when they are down, and I'm wrong, then I'm wrong believing in my team.

If I don't believe in them and count them out, but they still come back and win, then I'm wrong at having given up on the team I've been a fan of my whole life.

To me it's more fun and feels better believing in the Rockets even if I'm wrong and they lose. I also think the Rockets have earned that faith. They've come back, and they've been scrappy, and they've done it when the odds have been against them. Look at all the injuries to key players, and yet they still find a way to win. They find a way to win on nights like tonight when they've played 5 games in seven nights and are going against a playoff Western Conference team.

Like I said, I want all the fans for the Rockets that they can get. People can have knee jerk reaction and give up on the team even though the team themselves haven't given up and have fought back time and time again. It's not the way I have the most fun watching the games, but I understand other fans are different. They can be fans whatever way they want. Anyone fan that wants to be a fan while giving up on the team is welcome to be that kind of fan. It just seems like as a fan of a team that has gone against the odds so much this year, why not have a little faith. They've earned it.

Don't forget about Pap. We can play brewer at two and slide Harden to point. Pap can come off the bench. Tjones can play some three too. I think come playoff time, both Jet and Pablo will have to play a little less due to their age. But we should be alright. Maybe Bev injury is blessing in disguise.

I'd be shocked if Kostas is in the rotation if all of our bigs are healthy.

    We could use DMo though.

Honestly, I suspect the DMo "back injury" to be more about rest than actually treating real back pain.

DMo has no previous back pain problems and it was obvious he needed some rest with all the minutes he has played this year. He looked burned out a couple of weeks ago.

    Hopefully it is just that.

I would like Smith to get some games off when DMo comes back. Past few games and in the first half tonight, Smith has looked burned out. I don't know what clicked for him in the second half but thank goodness he woke up!

We have enough depth that we can sit some of our bigs when they all return. That could be huge in the playoffs since every one of our rotational bigs would be pretty fresh (Dwight and Jones due to their injuries earlier in the season, DMo getting rest now and Smith hopefully getting rest soon).

Wish the same could be said for Harden and, to some extent, Ariza. But we need both guys so much, especially with Ariza's hot streak he has been on.

the more players the better. if you have a blowout you can throw him in there and get rest for other players. he also helps in practice

i would think at some point harden and ariza will take a game off. who knows though with harden, im sure he wants the MVP that he has rightfully earned.

Need Kostas back... for so many reasons.

Nick Fury still needs more PT... hopefully he'll be our X-Factor.

Hope McHale starts believing in Capela... it's the confidence he needs and he'll start making free throws.

Capela will easily be our backup center next year and possibly our future starting center in the next couple years. Mark my words.
