Absolutely !! Three times the player (Parsons) for almost the same money. Shoot Ariza vs. Parsons straight up is a better deal.

Given how banged up the Rockets are, going 4-1 in a five games/seven days stretch is pretty dang impressive. Fun team to root for.

It was as sweet as it gets when JET Terry drilled that 3 right in front of Mark Cuban and then turned and looked at him.

The Mavs destroyed their roster by trading Jameer, Wright, and Crowder for Rondo. Colossal blunder! Jameer > Rondo because he can shoot 3's, and they lost a ton of bench depth in Wright and Crowder who are solid players with some upside. Rondo is just not an NBA player with his awful shot and average defense. The Mavs have trouble getting space for their other offensive players because Rondo is not a threat to shoot whatsoever, and doesn't offer enough upside to make up for it. The Mavs were potential championship contenders before they made that trade and will likely be non-contenders for a while with the Parsons salary.

    5 games in 7 nights, 4 Ws.

Good sign at this point in the season.

This years team is so much different than last years. Last season, in close games, and even more so in close games that the rockets were trailing in, I cannot say I would feel too confident.

This team is just so scrappy, they rarely seem to give up. If a game is close, I feel way more confident that the boys will find a way to pull through for a win, or at the very least, give the other team hell.

This season is such a good time, friends.

And the only loss was in large part because the refs didn't give Harden a timeout.

Franchise ...just for accuracy purposes....You are quoting Rudy T who is speaking of "nonbelievers all along the way"...who doubted the team was going to REPEAT as champions. A little different....yes, they did win ANOTHER championship when a lot of people had doubted them. But they had won a Championship the previous year of course. This gentleman has had doubting moments on a team that hasn't come close to sniffing a championship. There have been others who have expressed the same sentiment. The night Phoenix beat us like a yard dog on our home court....I wanted to "turn away" too.

Absolutely. Last year's team at this point was starting to struggle despite being more healthy than this year's team. Clearly we're deeper and the defense is winning us games.

To be fair to Tyson, what else would he say? "They will kick our ass in the playoffs"

He's not wrong. Every game this season with the Mavs has been close. Although Dwight did only play in one game and T-Jones was only in two of them.

Yeah sure. Dwight only playing 18 mins, Dmo did not play and harden was not the beard and all he's got is winnable?

What says a lot: In Dallas, no DMo, Dwight on heavy minutes restriction, Harden has a bad game by his standards, and the Rockets still win.

Prepare to get rekt if you face us in the playoffs, Dallas

nba.com felt it necessary to point out that all 4 Rockets vs. Mavs games were on nights when the Mavs were playing b2b...did point out we played last night also. Didn't know that but still PO's me that they try to take away from the Rockets accomplishments.

Mavs (fans) want it to happen.
Rockets (fans) want it to happen.
    Make it happen.

Each side feels like the other is weaker [the weaker opponent].
Or shall I say, weakest of possible opponents.
