If we take the Sunday game on OKC, we are in driver's seat and will have a little bit breathing room for a loss to SA.

Haha, yeah I was thinking the same thing, you know damn well Carlisle isn't going to throw a game like that, especially when you can see Cuban is pissed off. In the WC you really need to show up every game especially until you lock a seed, in the east it's a different story.

The great thing about this team is that they keep finding ways to win.

The sooner Howard gets an ease up on the minutes restriction the better it will be for the Rockets. Our interior defense is a whole other animal when he's in the game. Whether he's blocking shots, getting rebounds, or just intimidating the other team's penetrating players from getting into the paint, it's a huge plus for the Rockets.

Another thing I really love about the game is how Josh Smith, Corey Brewer, and Jason Terry have really bought into their role as bench players to the rescue. Their belief in that role and the fact that they can see how important it is to the team is amazing. That role has become as significant as any other role for this team. It always gives us a shot at coming back and keeps the Rockets from being out of games.

This is a very special team with a special season by James the Great.

Dallas is the weakest team, roster wise.

So we are going to start trading Dwight now? Because he's getting into the groove and didn't play phenomenal today?

He played well last 2 games, but one game lets trade him.

I really try my best not to hate on harden but I would much rather him get 50 against a Dallas team than a Kings team.

The eye test tells me Harden played like garbage, but the box score tells me something COMPLETELY different!

24 points 6/15 shooting 6 assists? no way.

All depends on health. Dwight in his CURRENT form is a net negative. If he can come back to 75% of his original form, then he's far and away the best value that we can get.

Rox gotta rush to get that 2nd seed to play the mavs, its the only chance they have if they want to advance. They better resign Brewer this offseason, that guy can ball

Out here in the hill country, I'm blacked out on the Rox pre & post game shows. I do get the games themselves though. So now I'm watching Mavs Live. It's soooo much fun!

Carlisle said that Harden's a foul creating machine!

Welcome back Corey Brewer and Josh Smith! Great so to see these guys get back on track tonight. Brewer was huge in the fourth. Good win for the Rockets tonight.

It makes perfect sense why Carlisle did it though.

Rondo is completely detrimental to the team in the 4th because he has one of the worse shooting abilities in the league, Rondo cannot convert free throws and he cannot shoot 3s, which basically means Rockets are free to crowd and double team real threats like Dirk.

Aminu is a better defensive presence but Jefferson is the Mavs' best 3 pt shooter. Dirk was playing very well and scoring easily when Rockets cover him 1v1, so Carlisle had to get sharp shooters in the line up to spread the floor so they can punish the Rockets for double teaming.

Fortunately the Rockets had some good rotations, and all the open shots were going to Ellis who has been struggling mightily from 3 pt line (by design or luck we'll probably never know).

In the playoffs I would imagine RC will foul our bigs until the end of time.

How many of the 52 wins do you think he impacted, put us over the top ? It's not a malicious thing toward Dwight, not personal either as I like him. The Rockets OVERPAID for him. The ROI on him is not good. He's not putting us on his shoulders and carrying us to a championship or even deep in the playoffs IMO.

Karma for Ellis trying to flop 10 times in the game and for Carlisle thinking he can get away with hack-a-[Rockets big man] all four quarters.

David Stern and Adam Silver do not take kindly to your hack-a-ways.

Ariza, Brewer, and Smith have really made it harder for teams to match up with the Rockets ( especially less athletic teams like the Mavs).
