i go by the distance in the loss column than the wins because each team has played an uneven amount of games
You could argue Paul and Westbrook have been better player and more valuable to their team than Curry. Both have missed their "running mate" for extended time in Griffin and Durant, and has played better in their absence. Statistically, Westbrook has been the best (even though he has the highest usage) and you could argue Paul's numbers have been just as great as Curry.

Sucks that the Clippers won. Now there's a very good chance they pass us in the standings unless the Rockets can find a way to win the next 2 on the road(cuz I don't see us winning in San Antonio). The upside is that we have a pretty good shot at finishing with a better record than Portland. So if we can just hold off the Spurs, hopefully our worst case scenario is the 5th seed with home court over the Blazers. Just like last year. Of course the downside there is we'd be in the same bracket as the Warriors.
Clippers are on such a roll, wow. They really might catch us. We need to win at least 2 out of the next 3 guys.

Only for tonight. The Clippers schedule is so easy from here on out that they might very well win out. We wanted LA to lose tonight because there won't be many chances again this season.
You have to look at the big picture. Portland has some tough ones left, including games at Brooklyn(who's fighting desperately for a playoff spot), at Golden State(who I'm certain want that 39-2 home record), at OKC(who may still be fighting to clinch a playoff spot), and at Dallas(who may have nothing to play for that night, but you never know). Whereas the Clippers' only remotely tough games left are at Denver, home for Memphis(and we probably want the Grizzlies to lose that one), and at Phoenix(who'll have nothing to play for on the final day of the regular season). They may go undefeated the rest of the way. Meaning the Rockets would have to finish 6-1 in their final 7 games in order to remain ahead of them.
