curry is also deserving... just like all those years jordan or hakeem didnt win it... but @JHarden13 showed he's the best player time and time again this season. #fearthebeard
It's like I've argued before, MVP should be voted by NBA players, not the media. This is an award that would mean so much more if chosen by these player's peers instead of spectators. There's already an award for the best player on the best team. It's called the Finals MVP. I wish the media would understand this. Voting it that way is just a cop out and requires absolutely no thinking. It's also unfair to the players carry a hurt team. Harden's case is that he's carried his team to the 3rd/2nd seed with so many crucial injuries all year long, but Curry has a great case because even though his team has been healthy, they are so far ahead of the pack that we don't know if they still wouldn't be 1st if they weren't so healthy all year. Personally, I don't think they would if Klay missed 30+ games, let alone their starting center, especially if they only played their expected rotation only TWICE all year like the Rockets have.
Harden is probably averaging 32 ppg on 47% shooting with Kerr as his coach.... hes way more talented than Curry
James Harden shot 16-25 tonight, his first game where he shot over 50% from the field since Feb. 10th.
James Harden is the most valuable player in the NBA. He probably won't win the MVP award, but he is the most valuable player in the NBA.
I don't know, man. Harden is doing some great things. Everyone who is interested in basketball knows how stacked Golden State is. James Harden is seriously leading one hell of a charge. Two 50 point games in a season? Easily the best SG. Whereas Curry might not even be the most dominant PG in the league.
It's funny how Morey says without Harden we would be going no where. Does this mean Harden is putting up stats on a bad team? Of course not, this team is no where near as bad as Morey makes it sounds, his exaggeration almost makes me hope Curry wins it just for it to be a slap in the face for him. Seriously that guy needs to stfu and let Harden do his own talking on the court.
Harden needs to make a stand these last few games. Dallas will be tired tomorrow too, he will have a chance to put up big numbers if he's not too sore.
Meanwhile the media favorite/darkhorse Russell Westbrook had a triple double but missed 3 huge threes in the final 8 seconds that would have tied or got the Thunder closer.
You take Harden off this team and assume we still have Brewer. Beverly Brewer Ariza Dmo Howard I smell 8 or 9 seed with that lineup.
