Nick Johnson "Me want Free!!!" Give him a shot, we still have JET, and Prigs. But we will need Nick's D to try and slow down the WC PG's. His ability to stay in front of them and challenge their shot will go a long way.

Dang, he just can't catch a break.

It's just going to be sweeter when the Rocket win w/o their starting PG....!

I wish Bev the very best. He gave the Rockets some very memorable moments when he was Wolverine.

Johnson needs to step up on the offensive end. He is very good on d already. Johnson needs to emulate Westbrook and be more of a scorer, be less afraid to miss, because like Westbrook, Johnson is not a good shooter.

Big d Johnson has all the tools. He needs the confidence to believe he can do it.

    Been saying this for months

If I know my boy bev, he'll be back before the end of playoffs haha

The best thing about harden is he already runs the offense, so we have a good amount of line ups

I personally think out best line up is

    Harden
    Brewer
    Ariza
Smith(debatable but he's good with passing)
    Howard

We cannot rely on Joey Dorsey, I trust that Nick hasn't developed enough to contribute on the big stage. However, if the quicker point guards are abusing Terry and Prigs then it's up to the young buck to come in and play D. JET will at least make them play some D, because he can get hot quick from 3 if left wide open. Prigs is a wild card, if he's not hitting the 3 he's going to hurt the offensive flow. Same with Johnson, but I think his D will be better on Curry, Paul, Conley, or Westbrook.

Nick should be shooting 1,000 3 pointers a day

There is a whole bunch of hot taking going on in here. The Rockets will only go as far as the health of teir front court plus Harden will take them.

Going into the playoffs, the Rockets were going to have the worst starting point guard among contenders. The injury Beverley doesn't change that. However, his injury does force the coaching staff to be more creative and use the full depth of the roster to address overcoming the injury. The good thing is that the depth is superior to last year in terms of options the Rockets can utilize at the point.

Given that the Rockets have a real shot at the two seed despite all the injuries, I think our coaching staff is better equipped to handle this injury going forward and the team has adopted a next man up mantra.

This sucks both for the team and him. Now he's labelled as injury prone. Wolverine no more

I'm excited to have KJ on the team, but does this seem eerily similar to trading Brooks last season at the deadline and then knowing we could have really used him as insurance? I felt as soon as we traded Canaan that there was a good chance he was someone who could be useful this season, where as KJ not so much.
