I wish him the best for his health. We should only resign him as a potential backup, though, and at a contract that should not pay him more than his last.

    Thanks for the memories Bev.

Heres hoping we draft a good PG to replace you.

Smart move on Pat's part. Wonder if we have seen his last game as a Rocket.

Not a shocker and I don't think it is as big a loss as some fans will think.

Beverley's heart was great but this year he was a major liability, never seeming to be healthy. I doubt he is matched next year but I would love to see him in a reserve role.

I think Nick Johnson can play the role of a + defender better than Bev did this season. Johnson needs some offensive confidence and I think he is going to be a major story of this post season.

Shame that the end of the Pat Bev era goes down like this. Not excited for whatever PG we face in the first round. They're going to go nuclear on us.

It is a big loss more because of the lack of depth and the high age of Pablo and JT.

I wonder what this may do to Bev's value this offseason - it may bring it down - I do like Bev and I like his heart but he started to lose his defensive edge (maybe its all the injuries) and that shot was not reliable at all. He had his moments though when he became wolverine and looked like he was playing 2 steps faster than everyone else on the court. Too bad those moments were too few this season

I guess. But with Bev healthy, Mchale had shown that he wasn't going to play Pablo. Which was a mistake.

Pablo's impact > Bev's impact for this team this year.

It isn't going to make much different.

Prigs is a massive upgrade running the team and on offense.

Beverly's defense will be missed, but they can withstand the loss.

The good news is that Bev's aura has been transferred into Corey Brewer.

JET trying to guard Tony Parker is a scary thought.

It could be a big deal if Pablo or Terry get hurt..... but as it is, I am not overly concerned. If there was any key rotation player the Rockets could lose, it is Beverly. Pablo just runs the team far better..... Johnson can get spot minutes as well.
