Better than nothing but surely he can take some of Prigs minutes. We won't make 19 threes every night. Can't give up 110 points.

Correct. Prigs is now 7-31 (22.5%) on FG and 5-28 (17.8%) on 3s as a Rocket.

McHale needs to commit. When he puts Johnson in, he needs to put Johnson in ALL THE WAY. None of this 3 minute deal where Nick is barely touching the surface before getting yanked out. How does he even get a feel for the game under such circumstances?

It really is a tease for all of us... I mean, if you're not going to leave Johnson in very long why not just keep him rested?

I think Johnson can really grow on us if we just extend his playing time. Unfortunately, milkhair doesn't seem to trust him. Maybe he's saving the young Johnson so he doesn't peak too early, hoping he will explode in the playoffs?

Prigs had his share of terrible offense... took him how long? Exactly.

Can't just expect Nick to play like a starter whenever coach puts him in for a couple minutes.

But his D is great and his offense will come as long as he gets more play time!

I have high hopes for this kid. He can be our secret weapon in the playoffs. D wise and as a slasher/dunks.

Nick needs to play 10-15 mins per game for his defense. 25 mins for Pablo. And the rest for terry. Terry is a nice shooter but he doesn't provide anything else at this point in his career. Terry can't be in the game without a creator (harden or Pablo)

If Nick the Brick ever learns how to shoot, he will be a serviceable rotation player.

Absolutely horrendous on the offensive end.

Very, very good on the defensive end. He is going to make a career on that side of the ball.

He has to get in the gym this summer and work on his shot. Right now, he has no confidence and defenders don't respect it so whenever he tries to drive, he has defenders all over him. If you can't shoot and can't drive, you're gonna struggle no matter who you are.

Otherwise, athletically, he's a beast and certainly is a great one on one defender with outstanding lateral quickness. He has a future in this league once he develops a jump shot.

I was at the game today in DC holding it down for our squad. Nick Johnson was amazing on defense. Once he gets more comfortable he's going to be a beast. Pablo is solid at running the team but God he needs to hit that open three. Proud. 2nd seed is ours.

Getting a shot would be nice, but c'mon Nick...gotta make those free throws! Great defense, though.

2-5 on threes today. 40% is good enough.

I say stay with Jet because of his shooting, if he starts being abused on D thats when you sub in Nick. Just play it as it is needed.

I'm fine with JET for a while, but I hope they allow him at least a week to rest up for the playoffs and give Johnson and Prig some more burn. I know we have that B2B vs the Spurs, but health is paramount (especially at PG).

Yes. By far his best game as a Rocket but he passes up too many open looks on threes. In our offense he must take and make those shots.
