Nick Johnson is pretty athletic and quick. I think we need to keep him. If Terry or Pablo retire we have (hopefully) a backup PG in NJ.

Did Nick just lose a tooth?

A little something flew out of his mouth.

Prigs is struggling with his shot in Houston, but he is a very good shooter.

    Shiney new toy: Nick Johnson.

Now he needs 30 minutes a game after getting a rebound and staying in front of his man. Some of you are so thirsty.

skill wise, yes he looks to be much improved from earlier in the season.

experience wise, no. i'd still take pablo in a close playoff game.

maybe next year nick becomes the backup PG, replacing the old guys (JT/prigs), or maybe even the starting PG if bev gets a crazy offer in free agency.

Gotta get this lead up higher. Wizards won't keep missing lay-ups.

Someday he may be. He's got the athleticism. It's a question of ballhandling and shooting since he's too small to be a 2-guard.

I like the minutes staggering so far. Wether or not Dwight gets two quick fouls I'd like to see him check out at about the 5/6 minute mark. Let Harden play the full first quarter and rest him to start the second. Bring Dwight in to start the second and let him see if he can get going against the backup bigs.

Nick Johnson really looking good out there. Playing good D and making quick confident decisions. He made a few quick post entry passes into Dwight that were a breath of fresh air.

Prigs is 'eh'. He's not doing anything special out there but buying time for Harden and keeping the ball handling responsibility out of Smoove and Terry's hands. That on the balance is a good thing.

Brewer is awesome off of the bench. Especially in a game like this when everyone is a step slow.

Ariza has been a mixed bag today. Great on D playing the passing lanes, but awful passing and ball handling.

Wish Nick could shoot better, that's what's holding him back.
