    from fans? I followed JR Smith on IG for a bit and his posts were littered with racist stuff. its cause Lin is the only Asian player left in the NBA.

    Can't say never, he does have a whole spectrum of fans, and you will get knee-jerk reactions from time to time but that's not indicative of his fan base.
