this quiz was interesting. it placed me with the green + democratic parties on most issues. there were quite a few questions where i disagreed with both, which was interesting as well.
Haha, what a funny result. It basically says I'm an even blend of libertarian, green party, democrat, conservative party and republican with my percentages ranging from 69% agreement to 75% agreement. I guess I'm a true swing voter. LOL
This is a much better quiz. I got 98% Green, 95% Democrat, 71% Libertarian, 55% Socialist and 10% Republican. Pretty interesting.
Please choose your answer: The government should spend all its money on putting statues of the Ten Commandments in public schools, bigger guns for our heroes and it should never help poor people, blacks, or queers. Obama is a terrorist Satan. The government should control all businesses and distribute wealth accordingly. Public schools should be putting states of Karl Marx up on the lawns, and poor gay minorities should be given million dollar kickbacks to help fund their organic sustainable kale farms.
Eh, that's more of an issues quiz and doesn't focus so much on political ideology. My one complaint of the OP quiz is that it doesn't abstract the concepts enough.
Your best fit is... Business Conservative along with 10% of the public. Dang it, I wanted to be more to the middle so I could hang out with some of you... LOL @ someone is mad they found out they're not whom they thought they were...
I don't fully agree with the result and am not really a fan of the poll because there were a lot of questions where I disagreed with both of the options so it became a sort of toss up between two bad answers. The poll would have been better and IMO more accurate if it wasn't always a binary choice.
Your best fit is... Business Conservative along with 10% of the public. Probably a fair assessment in raw economic terms but certainly didn't account properly for the libertarian social and foreign policy answers I was giving. I prefer the political compass style quizzes a bit more.
Haha naaah. Just too black and white. It was exactly what I thought it would be and that's my issue, it's so predictable what the result will be.
Net Gen Left. Skip some questions b/c neither choices is a good fit. Questions seem to be written from a Conservative viewpoint.
OP's test: Your best fit is...Business Conservative along with 10% of the public. RR's test: I side with Republicans on most political issues.
This is a better quiz. The other is too extreme. Lumped me in as a Young Outsider. This quiz has me as: 84% Green 76% Libertarian 58% Democrat 51% Socialist 33% Republican That said, if I had to vote for a party (not an individual) I would vote Libertarian, so, needless to say, I don't vote. I'm effectively disenfranchised by the two-party system. The day there's an actual chance to get somebody who isn't a Republicrat elected is when I'll vote and contribute. I'm for liberalism over socialism economically, and I don't think this quiz really takes that into account, so it gave me a high association with the Green Party.
Actually expanded the results to see all parties, and it had me at 37% with the Constitution Party. Sort of strange that they would omit them when rated them over the Republicans. Sort of biased if you ask me.
Your best fit is... Hard-Pressed Skeptic along with 13% of the public. Seems like some of the question where the same just worded differently.
much better quiz right here. took more time but more accurate. im mostly green party [wtf is this? never heard of this party] and libertarian and even a bit of socialist which my folks would have a heart attack about lol. a year ago i woulda been all republican so this was cool to see the change. they say you become more conservative as you get older but its been the opposite for me.
Your best fit is... Solid Liberal along with 15% of the public. 2012 vote: 89% for Obama | 3% for Romney Generally affluent and highly educated, most Solid Liberals strongly support the social safety net and take very liberal positions on virtually all issues. Most say they always vote Democratic and are unflagging supporters of Barack Obama. Overall, Solid Liberals are very optimistic about the nation’s future and are the most likely to say that America’s success is linked to its ability to change, rather than its reliance on long-standing principles. On foreign policy, Solid Liberals overwhelmingly believe that good diplomacy – rather than military strength – is the best way to ensure peace. Interesting. I answered that military strength is the best way to insure peace, although I didn't care for the question, since I feel that both military strength and diplomacy deserve equal attention. Glynch won't be surprised by that, I suspect. Otherwise, yeah, that's me. A "solid Liberal."
Got the exact same as you, OP. I started trying to answer them for the first few questions, but then got bored and selected random answers. These quizzes are rather meaningless
