Harden has had some of the same issues because of the weight the team has put on him, hopefully he gets to take it easier from here on out with Dwight returning. Same goes for DMo now that he gets to go back to the starting 4.
For those saying they would pick DMo over Jones... Is that purely based off the fact that DMo hasn't missed a game while Jones has miss 3/4 of the season so far? If DMo got injured in the 4th game of the season and missed like 40 games while Jones is healthy all year, who are we all picking? Statistically, Jones has been superior to DMo in almost every statistical category. Have we seen enough of Jones playing next to Dwight this season to determine that DMo is the better fit?
Based on the fact that you'd have a 6'9 PF or 6'8 Joey Dorsey manning the 5 full time for 38 games.....that would lead to a lot more losses.
I guess they could go without D-Mo at home against the T'Wolves if Dwight can play closer to 25 minutes. But I still think he suits up. There's too much at stake right now for anyone to sit who isn't seriously injured.
Idk, everyone here keeps insisting that DMo isn't a center, I don't see how it'd be any different than when we started Dorsey with DMo. Start Dorsey with Jones, then Smith completes the three man rotation. Given that Jones is a more efficient offensive player and a better rebounder, I don't see how we'd be any worse.
I'd be shocked if he sat. Can't recall the last time we had a guy listed as questionable who didn't push through.
Yea we really need him to play, hopefully that back loosens up, and that it isn't going to be an issue long-term. If he doens't play we need Dwight to play longer than 4 min/quarter, smh.
