Out of those 7 games, its likely the Clippers will go no less than 6-1, and assuming they will split the other 4 games with the decent teams, than makes them 8-3 with final record of 54 wins.

The Rox right now has 47 wins, to reach 54 wins, we need to go 7-5 the rest of the way.

However, the issue is : if we will tie with the Clippers, we will mostly be losing on the tie breaker of conference record, we are 26-17 now and they are 30-14 and we still have a bunch tough divisional games to play.

So, if the Rockets wants to get to No.3 seed at least, we are probably looking at no worse than 8-4 to close it out.

    Not easy.

GSW have had a nearly injury free season to go along with the deepest bench in the NBA. Must be sweet to have your superstars/starters available to play for almost entire season plus having TWO all-stars come off the bench.

Not the same. If I were Beverley I would get it repaired. Sucks for him, and for us. We need defense badly out of the PG spot.

I've been thinking for weeks that 54 wins would be enough for homecourt in Round 1(same as last year). I can't see the Spurs AND Clippers finishing the season on a tear, and Portland's slumping badly and has enough injury problems right now that I could easily see them losing another 4 games minimum.

But for the 3rd seed, 55 wins will probably be necessary. And 56 and possibly even 57 might be needed to pass Memphis for the division lead and 2nd seed.

Also correct me if I am wrong.

I believe no matter how much the Blazers will sink in their remaining games, they will still be the 4th seeds because they are the divisional winner.

And its very unlikely the Spurs or Mavs will pass the Rox, that makes the Rox Blazers matchup is more likely than anything else, even if the Blazers will have a worse record than the Mavs and Spurs.

Not to condescend, but you have 5 fingers on a hand and 1 wrist. As someone who has had a sprained wrist and tried to dribble a ball with that hand...man it's hard. Granted LMA's is his thumb, probably the worst to injure. But I'd rather have a sprained finger than wrist all day.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease basketball gods! There is no way he has a completely torn ligament from what I saw in the replay! They hi-fived! His hand got knocked and bent back, but it didn't look that crazy at all.

waiting 7-10 days to me sounds like they're waiting for the swelling to go down so they can get a really accurate MRI to see how torn. It has to be partial.

-not a Dr. , just a big idiot who's sprained a knee, a wrist & an ankle playing bball.

This chart needs to be shown before voting for MVP. Nobody has done more with less. In addition, Fire Mchale :)

Actually, it is very unlikely the Rox will play POR. Some team would have to pass both of them and claim the #3 seed, making HOU and POR #4 and 5, like last year.

Not sure if you just had a brain fart (my lesdyxia gets me too, sometimes). You are correct POR is likely to be #4 seed no matter what. But the #4 seed matches up against the #5 seed, not the Rockets.

Maybe LAC can rise to #3, they have a weak schedule, but looks like the Rox are a lock to get #3 and play the #6...hopefully, Dallas!!!

    Roadtrip!

Its just a tear in a tiny little ligament. CMON MAN!

Beverley will shake this off no problem.

Pulled the hammy in the 2nd game against the Jazz, but we started Canaan in place of him at that point IIRC.

Crazy to think that our full starting lineup has only started two games together this season.

    Sounds like you're right.
