Thank God Dwight is buying in, and props to Terry for investing himself fully to ensure the chemistry of the team.

We have something special in Harden. He is not stubborn, and I think that's really rare.

Hopefully, Dwight plays to his strengths a lot more and serves as a good complement to the rest of the team.

 

Funny how Terry and Harden could convince him to defer when Kobe couldn't.

Why you no trust me?

 

Different situation. Kobe was an aging superstar on the decline while Harden is entering his prime and could be the MVP of the league this season. This Rockets team is better than that Lakers squad. And Dwight is 2 years older and starting to decline physically.

If Dwight is smart, he'll embrace a reduced role offensively and focus on defense. It'll extend his career and earn him a nice fat extension(and maybe even a ring or two).

 

Yes the Big Man is showing he really is a BIG MAN ! Team is what this is about now. Rockets have a chance, as much as almost all teams, to go ahead and do this.

As predicted now what seems so long ago in the summer, Jason Terry would be a fan favorite. Through it all that is what he is, and his teammates respect the hell out of him.

I do look forward to D12 coming back. I think our defense will be much improved. But, I am curious what others think of a possible Prigioni / D12 pick and roll while James is on the bench. Do you think we can scrape some offense out of that? Prigs seems to be a fairly smart decision maker. I am hopeful that those two can generate some offense together. Maybe in certain situations those two with Jet in (assuming he finds his range) can be serviceable. Thoughts?
