Lol, it's kinda like let's bank on the rich die hard fans of this Harvard asian kid, sign him up, his fans will pay hundreds for a $20 watch with jeremy Lin printed on it. The whole watch is an antithesis of style, esp the print name. Still, rox value Lin at around 6.5 mil for his two year service, which is fair for his production. (Total cost 5mil per yr plus 1st pick which is valued at around 3mil to offset laker's balloon payout, so rox paid 13m for lin, laker's paid 12m!)
Not really. His boneheadedness cost Rockets a playoff series which made Lin a bad deal for Rockets even if he was getting paid $0.0. But yes LOL @ the Lakers for taking that tail end of the contract off of Rockets hands. From the Rockets perspective, losing a pick was well worth it.
Lin was a terrible ball handler and not a true point. An unreliable player for the playoffs. We picked up vets like corey brewer and jason terry who can handle pressure situations. Oh i have no doubt that jeremy can score almost 30 points. .in a meaningless game against a bad team without swaggy p or kobe playing. Playoffs, he had two years to prove himself. He proved himself not worthy.
