Go Mavs and Warriors. Man, I feel dirty rooting for those two teams. We reeeeeeeally need Dallas to get this game tonight. The Spurs are way too close for comfort.
Blazers loss is guaranteed, not that it matters. Spurs will probably pound the Mavs (who still have an outside shot of finishing 8th).
how incredible would it be if the the Mavs finish 8th and beat the GSW in round 1 (*** the mavs) but remember 2007?
That would be poetic, but it ain't happening. If the Mavs are so bad that they slip to 8th, they'll be lucky to win a single game in the first round.
People, you can't count out any western conference team at any given time. Mavs may struggle, but come playoff time, they are a different team. I see every series going to game 6-7 in the west.
Are you willing to face Spurs at first round? I thought that we need root Spurs to win, so we can face Portland. I do not like our chance for playing Spurs. By the way, it would be so great to see Mavs losing on TNT.
only way we play Portland is if we drop to 5th and the Clippers get 3rd, Portland cannot drop to 6th-7th only if OKC catches them for the division lead. It looks like we may be playing the Spurs/Clippers/Mavs
Well, wish we can face Mavs, but they just suck, a chance for us to play them becomes lower in each day.
improbable yes but u never know.... That Dallas team won 67 games that year....and the GS team won 42.
We need the Spurs to lose a few games. Right now San Antonio and the Clippers are red hot, and LA has a joke of a schedule the rest of the way. The last thing we want is to have both teams pass us in the standings. Even if Portland struggles down the stretch because of injuries, they're guaranteed the 4th seed since they'll win their division. You wanna be the 6th seed and face the Spurs or Clippers in Round 1 WITHOUT homecourt advantage? Yeah, me neither.
