He dominated the MAVs and closed out the Lakers

and what has OKC done without Harden?

Lin performed as you would expect a bench player to perform. Harden hasn't performed as a super star should. Also, T-Mac had better playoff performances than Harden as a Rocket.

This is true. Tmac was great vs Dallas.

    I'm a 99er. I don't fall for tricks.
    No lin's performance was terrible
First year he gets an elbow and his chest is bruised. Disturbingly not durable.

And then when we played portland his inability to make correct decisions in a critical playoff series was all we needed to know.

    Thank god for morey.

Yeah, Lin was very disappointing except for that one game 5 in the Portland series. He's just way too mentally weak. When he's on fire, massive confidence, when he's not hitting any shots he plays desperate and loses us games or just flat out disappears and contributes nothing.

To this day, he really hasn't improved his game at all. He's the same player he was in NYK, only difference is that his usage rate has gone down and he's bulked up a little bit. Still prone to the dumb mistakes that he never fixed when teams started gameplanning against him.

LOL @ Lin apologetics not knowing the difference or pretending to not knowing the difference between having bad games and throwing the game away on boneheaded plays.

Several players have had bad performances in the history of playoffs.

Not many players make costly boneheaded "plays" in back to back games. This is the Javal McGee category.

As a point guard, not knowing when to back off and run the clock....

As a point guard not knowing when to settle down and call the time out....

If you do not understand the value of these things, you simply do not understand playoff basketball.

Even Jerrry Lin knows how costly those turnovers were but Jerry Lin fans gotta save Jerry from Jerry Lin.

Ah yes, the triple bone-head play by Lin. First the turnover, then swatting the ball away from Howard's hands and then biting on the pump fake. A classic.

Hey zboy i think you posted that video like 20 times already in this thread alone. Omg Mo Williams had a steal what a big deal. If it happened in the first quarter no one would've cared. If Harden showed up the first 5 games we (rockets fans, not Fakers like you) would have won the series easily. Only your limited IQ can't comprenhend this. You're like that annoying stalker ex girlfriend that never let's go, even on vacation.

LOL at the timing of his return to starting line up.

Russell TMNT Westbrook is gonna dropped a quadruple on JLin esp the league just took away his tripple doubles from the Miami game.

Let's see what's JLin made of.

Zboy is drooling. But remember if Lin plays well it's stat padding against scrub teams

LOL the three stoogess circle jerking once again.

Take off your Jeremy Lin hate glasses and try to be objective for once.

    2011 Playoffs:
    • Average/mediocre performances across the board. Not a single GREAT game. Care to dispute?
    • Tinman- not sure where you got the number "Harden shot 68% in the 10-11 playoffs" I don't see a single game he shot over 68%. Funny how math works.

    2012 Playoffs:
    • Harden had ONE great game against the Mavs. Game 4 vs Mavs. Interesting enough, his statline was 29-5-5 ;);). That's the type of statline we should expect from a SUPERSTAR in the playoffs. And Tmac did this REGULARLY.
    • Also, he had ONE great game against the Spurs, Game 2 vs Spurs, but hardly "destroyed" them in the series.
    • Harden not show up against the Heat. And had mental midget Jeremy Lin-type numbers.

    2013 and 2014 Playoffs (Rockets)
    • Harden as the main option, franchise player, finally.
    • He had ONE great game (out of six)- Game 6 vs Thunder
    • Once again, Tmac used to put up these numbers regularly in the playoffs
    [IMG]
    http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/hardeja01/gamelog/2013/#pgl_basic_playoffs::none

    • Harden played very well in Game 6 vs Blazers. He played like the best player on the court.
    • He played like CRAP in every other game. He DID NOT play like a superstar, and had an atrocious 41 for 118 FGs (34.7%) in Games 1 through 5. This is the playoffs we're talking about!
    http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/hardeja01/gamelog/2014/#pgl_basic_playoffs::none

    Conclusion:
    • I counted 4 great performances out of 55 career playoff games (7%), over 5 seasons. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and not count his rookie season. So 4 great franchise player-type performances out of 49 games (8%), in 4 playoff campaigns.
    • He basically had one great playoff game per year. Can you honestly say he SHOWED UP in the playoffs?
    • If you're a Rockets fan like you say you are, I hope this isn't what you would come to expect from our franchise player
    • Let's hope he continues his form this season and finally performs to his potential in this year's playoffs. He's underachieved CONSISTENTLY, that's a FACT. Let's hope this is the year he brings it every night :)

^ Damn snoopy making Zboy, Lingman and Ling1 his bishes. No we didn't lose the series because our Superstar Harden went 8-28 or 6-19 in game 1 and 2. It's because Lin committed a turnover lol

Zboy please post that video again

    This is so cheesy lmfao.
Nice soccer skills though and apparently decent tennis skills, didn't know he played either. That Palo Alto privilege lol.

It's not all about FG%. Free throws and getting to the line are an important factor in the game.

Last year Harden was 27/5/6 on .519 TS% in the playoffs, he shoot poorly for his standards but any number of non-Harden related things go differently and we win that series and no one talks about him shooting subpar. Just like how Durant and Westbrook sucked ass in the first round last year (worse than Harden) and because they squeaked by no one talks about it.

Jeremy Lin overall had a poor series, but his game costing play was just inexcusable and changed the entire series.

Harden never lost a game on one play, he was generally pretty good in the clutch, outside of the overtime in game 1 (which he forced by drawing a shooting foul and hitting two foul shots).
