Lol, he also quoted J Hill (incorrectly mind you, but J Hill still), and ignores anything prior to last few years. Another example is quoting LeBron when he's not 30+ y/o... Basically skewing results and the whole correlation doesn't imply causation etc etc... He also gets frustrated with anything using stats. Pretty sure J Hill was complaining about schedule sucking on b2b's (especially away games) and not about play time... Ok so that actually makes sense. If you don't want us using Jordan (you're right harden isn't Jordan), well there's a ton of other examples (very large sample size of players from any era) that can play circles around these current guys mpg. I also would like to know the excuse for Harden disappearing in the finals for OKC (I mean sure he was inexperienced) but he wasn't the main focal point so additional minutes shouldn't matter right??? Oh he's tired.. I guess he lacks energy. ROFL
Please enlighten me on which J Hill I was talking about because you seem to actually have no Idea? lol
Yes. When he was 25, and won the MVP, he took the last 4 games of the season off. Because the Cavs had locked up home court throughout the playoffs.
Harden had an awful game 1 (which they won), the rest of the games, he was about where he was during the season.
Yet another irrelevant post are you really this slow? The point was to prove that other teams with other young players have rested, not that they rest ALL THE TIME. Lebron James has rested and other teams old and youngs, some of the top teams this year and in the past have rested INCLUDING THE WARRIORS, this year and last year. And you know that yet you keep arguing are you mental?
Jemele Hill... And I remember reading her article ( when released)... it references grueling schedule not the mpg. I also wouldn't reference her, you might as well reference B Windhorst since you quote LeBron I prefer the people playing/coaching the game doing the quotes, not the writers. I'm pretty sure I can drag up a Pop quote though about young guys being able to play more mins/games if that makes you happy.
Well that's a whole different story you were trying to sell before. You were adamant that he is shooting poorly because of being tired. Would I like to rest him if we could? Sure. But the reason he has been off lately is simply a slump. Tonight just might be the game that he breaks out of it.
You haven't been reading the thread, I guess. I said that awhile ago. I also said I wasn't talking about that one game. The whole point was to have him fresh for the playoffs, that's in my original post.
" I believe it's time to stop worrying about seeding and get this man some rest. Without a well rested Harden I don't think we go very far." = I'm clearly referring to the playoffs.
What would make me happy is if you stop replying to me. You are not level headed and your only aim is to disrupt rather than discuss.
How am I not level headed?? you keep replying to me and trying to make me look like I don't know anything when you have failed to drive the convo forward and have ignored valid points people (myself included) have brought up. This is a forum about basketball, not yours/mine either but a fans forum. I'm entitled to my own opinion (as are you), but it seems that unless people flat out agree with you, you basically resort to calling them crazy or asinine. Come up with a better argument and maybe you'll be more successful at driving the conversation. I haven't said you're wrong either I just have used real stats that say otherwise.
