We should hold him to a standard a billion times higher than a scrub bench player. Unfortunately, the fact is Harden has always underwhelmed in every playoff series. Last year vs Portland he was invisible for 5 out of 6 games. Even in OKC he never showed up in the playoffs.. Harden ALWAYS choked in the playoffs. Care to dispute? As a Rockets fan, you should be disappointed in his performances. Harden is a different player this year though. He's taken it to the next level playing at an MVP caliber. Hoping for different results. This could be the year he shows what he's capable of. *crosses fingers*
Lol, FYI, no one said Lin was better than Harden. Actually, I'll come out and say it here, Harden IS a much better player than Lin (at least offensively), that's a fact. But during the playoffs, Lin exceeded what he was expected to perform (he was expected to play like the mediocore 6th man) while Harden under-performed his expectations (expected to play like the superstar & franchise player that he is).
why did u omit PPG? dude they're just numbers, you made a comment about how he ****s the bed against playoff calibre competition, well he actually performs in line with how the vast majority of players do. you're the one making that claim so you should at least try and back it up with something other than flowerly adjectives again, disclaimer, the vast majority of posters here think Lin is nothing more than a meh pg. the fact some of you get hook line and sinkered so easily though means that this thread just keeps on delivering hahahaha

Harden was a big reason OKC got past the Spurs, but he also didn't have a great series against Miami. In his growth as an NBA player where he could make an impact in a playoff series, he's only been good against the Spurs. Harden hasn't really had a great playoff series in a Rockets uniform.
Of course he didn't. The guy has no concept of basketball as evidenced by his posts. He latches on to guys like Lin because they make him feel like he has a purpose in life. It's sad really
