You have a very selective understanding of sarcasm. It's really quite impressive, all things considered. (Hint: that was sarcasm). But you are right, (sarcasm) Byron does run the very essense of a modern system! (sarcasm) And Kobe was great this year! (sarcasm) And Lin, who no one would ever call a role player (sarcasm) should be able to transcend the system he is in (sarcasm). But mostly just tired of you dropping stats like they mean something (not sarcasm). So I went back and looked at Clutch's article on how Beverley was better than Lin, and dumped that stat. (not sarcasm) I'd do it by lineup, but that is practically impossible with the way Byron runs lineups--which I assume is not an accident on his part. (not sarcasm)
Oh, yeah, almost forgot. Bonus LOLzzzz at a guy quoting FG% and dissing TS% when he is theoretically a fan of the Rockets. You do realize our best player is James Harden? He of the league average FG% but elite TS%?
I bet he will be on the end of the bench playing garbage minutes next year and may not play every game. But I don't think he will ever be a starter again, he's not an nba caliber point guard.
He will have a place in the NBA. Say what you want but Lin sells tickets and will put fans (dumb ones) on the seats for reasons not entirely basketball related. That will always be a necessity for several teams around the league, especially tanking teams. And that may require coaches giving him some decent playing time (again not on basketball merit).

Great game for Jerry! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>.<a href="https://twitter.com/JLin7">@JLin7</a> explodes for a season-high 29-points along with 5-rebounds and 5-assists in the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/LakersWin?src=hash">#LakersWin</a> over the Sixers. <a href="http://t.co/N2vPhLyhJX">pic.twitter.com/N2vPhLyhJX</a></p>— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) <a href="https://twitter.com/Lakers/status/579854543460044801">March 23, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Stat padding against two former Rockets scrub PGs. Nothing new here. BTW, didn't a lot ppl in GARM said that Canon was a better player than Jerry Lin? LOL
He only has 4 assists and made 2 turnovers for them. He's not a PG, he's a certified NBA scrub. Scruuuub!
Typical. Scrub team in town? Jerry decides to stat pad. Thanks for re-affirmation Jerry! It is amazing how Lakers decide not to "tank" when Jerry gets his numbers, isnt it? Why are Lakers not tanking today??? Is it because its Sunday? Second last Sunday of the month of March? What was so special about today that Lakers did not want to tank and thus decided not to limit Jerry??
Don't worry everyone, Zboi will find something bad about JLin's game tonight to make everyone on CF fill better.
LOL I knew this was coming. Everytime he plays well, Lin = stat padding. When Lin plays reduced minutes and relegated to bench = Lakers are not tanking. But NOW you are saying Lakers are tanking when Lin plays well. hahaha your logic is hilarious. we see through your lies. Didn't some of you guys want Canaan to start over Lin when they were both here? LOL
Typical Lin fanatics. Cant understand their own thought process. I am not saying Lakers are tanking or not tanking. I am simply applying Lin's fanatics logic against them. According to fanatics like you, Scott should have benched Lin tonight. Question is, why didnt he if the Lakers are tanking and limiting Lin like you guys claim? Isnt it interesting that there's no talk of "tank" when Lin has a good game here and there? Things that make you go hmmmmmm.......
