Not really inspiring at all. Good to have Dwight back, but I mean...still that limited?

I don't feel optimistic about this at all. Remember when Tim Grover said Tmac was in the best shape of his life?

He also didn't play in B2B

Extra bone marrow in his knee, hasn't played basketball in 8 weeks. I'm looking forward to the return.

That's a great idea, now that I think about it!

Glad we have the staff that we do, otherwise we could have had a KD situation on our hands. Welcome back to the party Dwight!!

I don't want him rushing back. But if he can play on this road trip, they need him out there. Especially if Smith is out or limited by his sore calf. There are no B2Bs til the Washington and Toronto 2-game roadie next weekend, so he can rest between games.

They said something this coming week. My guess is against the Pelicans on Thursday?

Also, Papa has been out for like forever. Did he really have a serious sprained ankle or just in McHale's doghouse?

I've always thought it would be the T'Wolves on Friday, but I'd love to be proven wrong and see him return earlier. The problem is if he's not playing B2Bs, he'd be available for 8 games at most before the playoffs should he come back against Minnesota. That's not a lot of time to get back into game shape and develop chemistry(particularly on offense) with the rest of the guys.

True. We may have to stay flexible on this and instead of him missing back to backs, it might be better to limit his minutes further on back to backs. Maybe 15-20 minutes the first night and 25ish the second night.

That's why I hope the Rockets and Dwight surprise us all and have him suit up tomorrow night. If he wants to play 10 games before the playoffs(as it's been reported) and he's not gonna do B2Bs, he needs to start playing in the game at Indiana.

I read all of that, and it makes me worry this is chronic with Dwight....I really hope he gets all the way back.

The question has not been answered: How did DH12 get an edema/inflammation without an impact injury? With TJ you saw him getting hit in the ribs. We never saw anything with Dwight.

Sure, 8 weeks of rest will get you feeling fine and ready, but if the knee can flare up just from playing basketball, there is no reason to think it won't happen again. I am very worried, too.
