He's just as "tired" now as he was in the first 17 games of the season in October and November.

If by tired you mean in a slump.

    He's fine.

Okay bro, your shot isnt falling and the refs swallowed their whistles but can you still be a team player? he becomes a liability big time. I called it on game thread, I gave props to Mchale for keeping him on the bench. This Harden just isnt mature yet. like the lin fans said, we are held hostage by his tantrums.

He should have told Coach Mchale he needed the day off.

This is a joke right, when Houston Rockets fans start believing that BS that Houston haters peddle it's time to re-evaluate your fan hood. James Harden doesn't get to the foul line when he is not aggressive, either he is tired mentally or he is tired period. It has little to do with the refs. Sometimes they suck but they don't totally stop him. HE totally stops him because sometimes like everyone he is tired of doing everything. Any athlete knows that it is much harder to do the things you usually do easy when you are tired. We are talking a whole season only 1 game missed averaging the most minutes of anyone in the league. Even 25 year olds have their limits. He is not superman.

I'm not even gonna comment on that Jeremy Lin remark, you are just embarrassing yourself.

Harden is just fine, he has just had a bit of bad luck on his shots. A lot of them have rimmed out

I'm sure he's just as tired as everybody else in the league. It's March.

Still needs to get it done, though, and I'm sure he will. Not worried about Harden in the slightest.

    From Basketball-Reference:
Harden and Tucker have gone head-to-head 11 times now since 2013. In those games, Harden is averaging 24.9 PPG, but on 39% shooting from the field and 31% shooting from deep. He averages 5.5 assists as well as 4.9 turnovers per game.
Last night's game was the fourth time that Tucker held Harden to below 30% shooting on at least 15 shot attempts (5-19).

Harden love playing pg but we had a different game plan last night, team ball the non sticky stuff. I saw Harden wasnt going to have that. I was at the game and his demeanor of just inbounding by and tapping it to Bev was a red signal.

    *ignore list grows*

I do worry about him heading into the postseason. Tough to swallow every time you see SAS/Hawks/Grizz/GSW resting their main guys.

If he doesn't snap out of this slump we won't be getting out of the 1st round

For some reason your reply seems to assume I'm referring to ONE game, lol

True the smart teams rest their players towards the end of the season.

On his free throws? I don't think so. Missed free throws from an elite FT shooter equals tired legs to me. If it means he gets some rest I don't mind dropping to the 6th seed. It's a lucky charm for us, after all.

There's only one other guy in the league that's doing everything for his team right now and excelling at it and he had most of the season off.

Yep. Tucker and a couple other guys in the league have the strength and defensive smarts to really frustrate Harden, especially when he is already in a shooting slump.

It's not him being tired, selfish, immature, or whatever else excuses that are out there.

He's slumping, just like he has slumped before(in the very beginning of the season where fatigue is out of the question) and last night he was up against a guy who has played him better than almost anyone has played him throughout his career.

The sky is not falling. There are no troublesome immaturity issues. He just has to find his shot again and he will be fine.

That is the way it is supposed to be. Don't care too much about the R Season.

If he does not bring it in the playoffs, he will take flak. That is just normal and it is all about the Playoffs from here on.
