If we're being honest though, I'm sure you can say that about every team in the league. Sure. He didn't have a good game. Nobody's denying that. He was definitely the weak link. But the Rockets win that game if they don't let the Suns practice layups the first 3 quarters, I bet. Even with Harden playing poorly, the Rockets offense was still doing okay, but the defense just killed any chance they had. Still averaging 27/7/6. True Shooting % is still very good. Aside from a few games, still giving acceptable defense. If all we're going to say is Harden has played "like ****" because his shooting percentages are down, then that is being far too critical and honestly just silly. Dude scored friggin' 50 last game. There are dozens of things I'm more concerned about than Harden with the Rockets.
Yes it does. Harden is our number one scoring option. This team needs his pre all-star break form for them to have any success. The James Harden that is shooting 38% from the field the past 14 games is not going to take this team far into the playoffs. You can count on it. He's been on an extended shooting slump. When people post that they are not worried about Harden's extended slump, do they not understand that he takes the largest volume of shots on this team and 38% is not going to bode well against the playoff teams of the West?
Bad loss. Disappointing loss. But rockets still have that cushion for the 3rd seed. It just seems these are the games the rockets lose; the ones where they can gain ground. Bad loss, but not terrible. We should all step back from the ledge.
Regular season is only a qualifying period, this will not be the line up we have come playoff time fans just over react badly here after every loss...............and sometimes after wins

I've been commenting on Harden's poor shooting for a while now. It isn't a reaction to this loss in particular. He needs to step up soon. That second and third seed hang in the balance.
3rd seed would be good, we know we can beat the Grizzlies on the road and it probably will be the easier side of things
