Duke with Okafor, UK with Towns and WCS. I feel like height, and not guard play, is going to be the key this year. Block party in the Cincy-UK game.
Cauley Stein has to be going top 10. Defensive player of the year potential in the NBA. Reminds me of Tyson Chandler which I assume many think is obvious.
Not of folks been bashing Octavius Ellis about his attitude but the story on his upbringing was sad as hell. Can see why he has anger issues
Except he's far ahead of where Chandler was. Chandler wasn't worth much in the NBA until about his 5th year. Also, while Cauley-Stein probably won't be a consistent post-scorer, he's ahead of Chandler in that skillset right now. Early on, Chandler was a skinny toothpick and it took a few years just to put on enough weight to be effective. Cauley-Stein's body is ready for NBA action.
So relieved my Irish pulled out the win. I was seriously having a heart attack when Butler had the ball with 2 and ultimately .6 seconds left... gave me flashbacks of a certain Rockets/Blazers game... great to finally reach the sweet 16 after a mediocre season and some tough Madness outings.
Yep. It really was where the game ended. That clip really sums up the problems in college basketball. WCS is probably attending zero classes right now, talking to an agent on the down low, and he's basically a professional athlete already dunking on some college kid. It just looks... yes, wow... but stupid, like an 8th grader dunking on a 2nd grader's nerf hoop.
AAHH, your Irish haven't been relevant since Studebaker pulled out of South Bend. Go Boilermakers!! OOPS, shouldn't of said that, I guess. Seriously though, that was a great game for the state of Indiana!
The defensive intensity by both MSU and UVA in the 1st half was incredible. That, combined with the refs swallowing their whistles, made it almost impossible for MSU to score the last 10 mins.
