Kenny Smith.....In my opinion.....you should have been there last night. Missing one night during the 1st rd of the tourney shouldn't be that big of a deal. If Mad Max could make it you should have been there. With SO many former teammates in town celebrating something that was REALLY SPECIAL, not just for the players and the team, but for the city of Houston. It was our FIRST true taste of a championship in professional sports. Man how in the world do you choose NOT to be there Kenny? CBS/TBS would have certainly understood. My apologies if there was something else going on in your life that kept you from being there, but if there wasn't, Kenny you missed out on an extraordinary evening. Life is short and ten yrs from now (or 15 or 20) when they will celebrate the accomplishments again, many of the people who were there last night will have passed on. Carpe Diem....you should have been there! Cassell? Could the Clippers live without you for a night?

Pete Chilcutt played more minutes than you probably remember. There were quite a few injuries in 94/95 plus OT went to Portland so we had to improvise. Not to mention he was a nailz 3 point shooter. Chucky Brown also played quite a few minutes, and did a number on Barkley in the playoffs for a game or two. The role players really stepped up for those Rockets teams. I would have liked to have seen Chucky Brown attend too.
Come on dude, you really called him Mad Max? You know he never liked that nickname, even when he played, I'm sure he doesn't like to be called that now that he's 50.
