I hope that's the case. As long as we have him for the postseason, that's the most important thing. What sucks is that after tomorrow night, the Rockets play 7 of their next 9 on the road and none of them are easy opponents. We really need Dwight back soon to make up for Jones' absence.

Good, that's one of those injuries that sounds a million times worse than it is. I expected broken ribs which might be about the same time frame, but with way more lingering effects.

This hurts the race for positioning in the West, but whatever. We'll end up playing an overqualified 4-7 seed no matter what.

Let him rest until 2 april, that's we begin the last tough stretch vs. a lot of WC rivals, starting with Dallas.

    Guess this is good news.

He has the strangest injuries of any athlete ever. He looks indestructible, weird.

The Pneumo will heal just fine. His main limiting factor will be the pain he has with deep inspirations, along with flexion and extension with his intercostals (also, he's left handed so it's his dominant side).

All I can do is shake my head at the injuries we keep getting smacked with. When have we have 100% of our rotation players available this season? One game? two? Yao, McGrady. Someone please burn the voodoo dolls or get some holy water, candles and ring the silver bell while chanting. Whatever it takes to get this curse out of here.

I have broken a rib on two seperate occasions. It hurts to breathe. When you know you are about to cough or sneeze, adrenaline starts racing through your body instantly and simultaneously you are paralyzed with fear because you know there is nothing you can do to stop the pain that you are about to receive. And if you get the hiccups, oh ****, its just over - i am sure that somehow mossad agents instituted this as a torture method by breakng a rib and then finding a way to induce hiccups

3-4 weeks though is how long the pain lingers for body movements that contract the muscles around the broken rib. T-Jones won't be 100% until the first round, God willing.

Absolutely. He'll bounce back just fine in a few weeks.

This is all true, but it sounds like Jones doesn't have a broken rib or anything. He'll heal up just fine.

Having a partial collapsed lung beats the hell out of a broken rib. Jones is young and strong, so he will be fine. What sucks is that he was starting to play really well for us. In fact, it looks like he was going for a 25-10 stat line last night.

Dwight should be back as soon as next week, so that mitigates the loss of Jones.

Hoping he recovers. What's the prognosis for a partially collapsed lung? Is he out for the season or can we expect him back this season?

He'll be reevaluated in a week, so I definitely think TJ will be back before the playoffs.
