Just don't get it.

History has proven stars free throw rates go up in the post season.

Wade won a title with a non stop parade to the line.

When you can't stay in front of a guy and he continues to blow by and get to the rim and fouls happen he's gonna get the calls.

I should have clarified, for some reason it doesn't work with James based on his last 2 post seasons with us. There has been a night and day difference in his play and the reffs don't even call half of the stuff he normally gets.

 

Harden's free throw went down on 1 or 2 per game during last years playoffs. But that doesn't worry me Harden wasn't as aggressive in the playoffs as he was during the regular season, if he comes aggressive we will be fine. It's not the playoffs it's James Harden's mental state of mind and using his abilities in the playoffs.

He was missing a lot of open shots, and the game is played at a slower rate.

James shot 11 FT a game against OKC in 12-13 playoffs.

 

Harden's problem in the playoffs has been shot-making, rather than drawing free throws.

 

Good game. Great reunion. All-world memories.
Great to have Calvin and Bill together for the broadcast.

James was on a mission. Congrats to him on the career night which helped the team and his MVP chances.


Houston is now 46-22... same record as last season. Rockets would eventually reached 49-22, before falling off to finish 54-28. We are better this year*. Dwight is rested for the playoffs and hopefully healthy. We're more talented overall and Harden is better. He played 40 minutes tonight... not bad in a vacuum, but overall he's playing too much. Our bench needs to be used more, namely Prig. He played tonight, so maybe McHale wised up.

Los the man has matured right before our very eyes. 1st season he didn't have any true help going against a power house in OKC. Last season it was his 1st season with Howard. Third time is a charm right.

He will lead us past the first round. :grin:
