No, it's more of a glorified hot tub. And yes the resemblance is striking, didn't notice it until you said something
Isn't Laurel supposed to be a badass now, training with Wildcat? What happened to that storyline? And Arrow needs to make John Barrowman a series regular - this is the only way to save Thea's storyline.
Agreed. Malcolm Merlin is still my fav villian but DeathStroke is a close second This show is build on the Villians more than Flash at this point They killed off River Tam too soon too Rocket River
I really hope Thea wasn't under hypnosis. She didn't know Sara was Canary, Merlyn could have tricked her. It would make for great television when she found out she unknowingly killed Sara as Canary. They had to. If she was on the show too long you know she would bring her cancellation curse with her. Its better that she is dead. she fine doe.
Honestly . . . I think it would be better if Thea is more of a cold hearted killer like her dad. . . . someone has to be a unredeemable bad guy Rocket River
Not the strongest Which is worse considering that Flash is rising The question becomes what is next. Ra's getting personal with this is a bit . . . .different. What villian will be able to top Ra's I see Nissa trying to infiltrate I felt Ra's challenge to her was for her to take out the competition rather than get out the house . . . . . but . .. Rocket River
I wanted to see Nissa give Thea the right to defend herself and see them square off. Let's see what happens. I guess they are slowly building up for the finale showdown between ra'as and arrow. Nissa will end up taking the throne.
You think Flash is equal to or better than Arrow now? I ask because I haven't watched Flash since throwing my hands up in the air during episode 3. The bad acting and dialogue were just too much. Should I go back and catch up? My son also says Flash is on the rise and he likes it better than Arrow now.
Flash has developed better story arcs than Arrow's. At the very beginning, the villain of the week episodes were definitely weak but they've since come on strong.
Agreed a good story arc is important. With so many superheroes on TV now, the freak-of-the-week stuff gets old fast, even for new shows. But answer me this: Have the scripts and acting improved to where the show doesn't feel so amateurish and cheap?
I'd put it on par with Arrow, which is impressive for a rookie showing. The scripts are definitely better. Grant Gustin got over his nerves; he's not great by any means but he's watchable. Tom Cavanaugh and Jesse Martin were given more to work with and their experience is showing through. Cavanaugh as Harrison Wells is particularly notable for his depth of character.
I'd have to put this past episode of The Flash on par with seasons 1-2 of Arrow. Arrow season 3 has been kind of meh compared to the first two seasons, but still one of the better shows on network TV. The biggest reveal of this episode was Shado coming back. Other than that, pretty meh. Anyone else find it funny that all the girls on the show have daddy issues? Thea, Laurel, and Nyssa now. Are they trying to capture a female demographic?
Binge watched seasons 1 and 2 this week and have now caught up on season 3. Awesome show. Not sure how they will top Ra's as far as villains go. Laurel has become a whiny sack of turd though and has been in continual decline for me since the end of the first season. Really interested to see what they do with Nyssa as the season comes to a close. Part of me feels like Merlyns going to die protecting Thea somehow, which would be an appropriate end for the character. The last season should be all of the prisoners he racks up in that prison on Lian Yu busting out and there being an EPIC final battle on the island. Right now he's got Slade and Digger Harkness in there. Last but certainly not least, Felicity is my girl.
Season 3 has been weaker than the first 2, but still good. Flash has been a little better this season, but I think the first 2 seasons of Arrow are much better than the Flash has been. They made so much progress with Thea this season, but now they are backsliding, emo Thea is a really annoying. They also still have a mountain of work to do to make Laurel feel like a viable Black Canary, she continues to be an irritant. I'm hoping that is what Nyssa is for.
This season has lost alot of intensity Seems kind of directionless They moved to the point where Freak of The Weak ain't working no more but They don't have a strong over arching villian/issue going on I like Ra's in the comics but in this show he is nothing compared to DeathStroke and Malcolm Merlin it doesn't FEEL as dangerous a time for the group. The Felicity - Arrow - Billionaire guy love triangle is a major fail [I would actually be interested in Ollie trying to actually get his company back or do SOMETHING besides be the Arrow. . . i mean he supposedly broke and jobless right? ] The Flashbacks to Shanghai suck. I don't care for the kid, he is annoying Rocket River
The only thing I've enjoyed about this season was the build up to be ra'as a Ghul for arrow. Billionaire guy is boring. Laurel is annoying. Black canary & her don't go together. The only interesting part about Shanghai was shado. And I was expecting more from Thea character. Shayan (Sk34)
Build up to The Arrow Versus The Atom . .. . major Meh This was just a boring episode. The Flash seems to have stolen The Arrow's Mojo Rocket River
