His game will not age gracefully at all, unlike guys like Harden and Curry who should be playing well into their 30's.
Jon Barry just went Jon Barry and said that Green is the best perimeter defender in the league... Its only been 2 minutes.. pace yourself buddy.
His main problem is shot selection. He could easily shoot 48% from the field if he didn't take so many stupid shots. He also misses a lot at the rim (even when the shot isn't difficult). I bet WB leads the league in 1/10 and 2/10 starts in the 1st quarter. Probably has more than the next 2-3 guys combined.
I think he has proven so far this year that he is up there as one of the best perimeter defender and a contender to win DPoTY. The fact that he can guard practically every position effectively makes him a very valuable. The thing is, he is a great defender pretty much due to his effort which is special because most guys have some physical freakiness that makes them elite on defense (Paul George and Jimmy Butler have extremely long arms or LeBron is a freak athlete, etc.). Don't get me wrong. Hate the guy but he deserves a lot of respect for transforming himself into the player he is today.
