Most of the penalty takers weren't German, and Kießling unfortunately is notorious for messing up in crucial games. Schalke and Leverkusen were so close to kick out both Madrid teams, too bad.

Didn't know Howard Webb retired from refereeing. I never liked his face, but who likes EPL referees anyway? Apparently he is now in charge of appointing referees for EPL games.
