I don't think Jesus would spend a whole lot of time concerning himself with whether it was legal or illegal for you to do something. If the only reason you weren't "sinning against God" was because the law wouldn't let you, you've already committed the sin.

His popularity back then? His friend list had about 12 people on it. Everybody else was not a fan.

This is very hard to do and I would said the two are very dependent on each other and inter-related. Can you said that a person idea of government is not based on what the person think people should do/acts/behave? People can be expanded to community.

Really, clearly he's none of those or none of most of what we are. He said something to the effect of don't judge other b/c you know, you a hypocrite for not looking at yourself or that the mere act of judging is non-love/compassion. Who haven't at all judge? Dem and Rep are very set in their ideals based on judgement.

lol Rather than have "an unjust taking" i.e stealing, you know taxes and food stamps, people should be allowed to starve to death if they don't have any money to demand food on the market.:)

Ayn Rand and the "Virtue of Selfishness".

I know as usual you will claim she wasn't a real "liberrtarian".

If you believe in Jesus... And if he was here today... Some of you should probably be more concerned about how you've been treating the real Israelites than what political party he would be interested in.

Haha, oh glynch you're too easy.

I will make no such claim on Ayn Rand, because how the hell would I know? Unless, of course, she directly addressed this herself. Hmmmm. I wonder if she did that? Let me take 30 seconds to Google search it...

... ah, here it is! This is what Ayn Rand had to say about libertarianism:

    And:

    And:

FTR Rand was a bit of a megalomaniac and thought her and Socrates were the only original thinkers.

Just imagine Jesus's running for presidency , foxnews will say he is Muslim undercover, and not true Christian, and of course anti-Semitic as well. he fly to Israel , go to that wall to cry like all american's politicians running for presidency to get approval from Jewish international congress, .@that moment he may be assassinated if his sympathy was short of convincing.

I no longer vote in non-public polls. As for Jesus? I think he'd be an independent.

Didn't Jesus preach being humble about your faith? Wouldn't Jesus not want to spend tax money on extravagant religious displays?

Reminds me of the old story attributed to Ma Ferguson an old Texas Governor. She wanted to make English the official language of Texas because "If English was good enough for Jesus it is good enough for Texas".

Her ideological and intellectual descendants still hold power in Austin.
