I would say this point is very debatable, but you've set up a false choice here. There are more possible outcomes than the two you've set up and war is not the only path to keeping Iran from joining the family of states armed with nuclear weapons.

But they haven't addressed those who contend that there are ways to keep Iran from building a nuclear weapon other than war. Obama is exploring one of these options and they don't like that he might get credit for anything at all, so they interjected themselves into the discussion.

    Bullsh!t.

How, exactly, has Obama given you the impression that he "can live with Iran having nukes"?

Facilities which, if you believe the experts, can't be taken out with air-delivered ordinance.

As observed by others, diplomacy is one of the "sticks" to which you refer and Obama is attempting to use it.

In addition to undermining Bush's talks with Iran in 2008, no one can forget Obama whispering to Medvedev that he would have "more flexibility" after the 2012 election to negotiate on missile defense. Obama would deny that charge or attack the source if the exchange weren't captured on audio and reported on by the New York Times. Obama is completely hypocritical by attacking Republicans for reaching out to Iran. If Obama weren't such a horrible negotiator and if Iranian-born Valerie Jarrett wasn't so sympathetic towards Iran, then there would be no need to publicly interfere with Obama's efforts. Instead, the whole world is fearful of what type of concessions will be made to a known sponsor of terror. Once again it shows you the complete incompetence of the President on foreign policy. He's in his comfort zone walking arm-in-arm with Al Sharpton in Selma, but way out of his depth when negotiating anything internationally. The whole world knows it.

It's hilarious when someone can work in Al Sharpton on a post about Iranian nuclear negotiations. How awesome is that!

It's like a reminder that Obama is black, in case anyone forgot.

Iran, Republicans, Obama. Russians, terrorism... did I mention he's black? GRR! Black I said!!! Blackkkkk!

If the terms of a deal permit continued uranium enrichment, that's no stick at all.

So deal that permit lower grade uranium not for weapon is no stick at all but sanctions that cannot stop weapon grade uranium and a bomb being obtained is a stick. That's quite illogical.

No, anyone who would choose war over diplomacy with Iran is a ****ing loon and should be ignored. Congratulations you've made yourself irrelevant to the conversation.

    Just like Tehran Tom
