Schaubs last play as a Raider:

Seems fitting that this was Matt Schaub's last on-field play as a member of the Raiders.

It may eventually work - but the Colts' offseason is the kind that ALWAYS generates the most "buzz" but rarely seem to work out. Most pundits are surface-level goofballs who get stars in their eyes. ANDRE JOHNSON! FRANK GORE! TRENT COLE!

I think Andre will be good for them and I think Trent Cole will be good for them, but I don't think either of those moves really address their big issues.

Trent Cole doesn't stop the run. Andre Johnson can't play o-line.

All three of those signings can be productive and it not really change anything for the Colts.

Example: Not one of those signings changes what the Texans need to do against the Colts. Texans can beat the Colts by playing strong defense and running the heck out of the ball. It might not work, but it won't be because of those three guys.

Pretty much a perfect offseason besides the Dre PR stuff. Time to go into the draft.

    Look Ma, we made it!

Houston has been unsettled at safety for a couple of years, failing to recover after Glover Quin left for Detroit. After that, Ed Reed washed out in 2013 and Chris Clemons failed to even make the team after leaving Miami last year. The Texans eventually settled on Kendrick Lewis, who had been cast out of Kansas City after his debacle in K.C.’s playoff loss to Indianapolis the previous season. Lewis was a competent stopgap, but the Texans were right to let him leave for Baltimore.

Moore, of course, is no stranger to famous playoff mistakes. Look past that one fateful play, though, and Moore has been an above-average safety for the vast majority of his career. He’s a capable center fielder, and that’s exactly what Houston needs. The Texans posted the league’s best QBR against on throws within 19 yards of the line of scrimmage, but on throws 20 yards or more downfield, they fell to 14th. Moore, who just turned 25, should be able to hold down the fort on those rare snaps when J.J. Watt doesn’t get home.

Except for the fact that this wasn't his last play. A few weeks later he threw around 10 passes against the Raiders.

Schaub played again later in the year. That was definitely not his last play as a Raider.

It was against the Rams. Cleveland game was week 8. St. Louis was week 13.

He threw around 10 passes against the Raiders? That'd be incredible even for Schaub!
