For those down on DMOs recent production, remember that he is playing out of position and being asked to take on more of a defensive burden than he is frankly capable of.

Slide him next to Howard and he will be back to all of those beautiful hook shots and giving shorter PFs trouble on the other end. Ask him to match up against stronger opposing centers, this is just our reality.

Look for UA to get the next contract for NBA jerseys.

    Crap.

When does the adidas deal end? If the Rockets fans are hoping that we get a jersey redesign, better hope we get it in before they get UA-ized.

UA has some pretty deep pockets right now. Just more and more money coming into the league, and another reason for this next CBA to get nasty.

    Cyberx-

Any news on the franchises that are up for (or have stalled out) sales? Have you heard any preliminary figures thrown around for Brooklyn or Atlanta?

I heard too that Milwaukee might have been purchased for a quicker flip than we might have thought. Anything on that?

i was just going to start a thread on this...UA has been picking up a lot of momentum in basketball and this is what i expected.

I'm glad too...Adidas is awful. I don't buy any gear because their designs suck.

I agree about Adidas, through the length of their NBA deal, but I feel like UA is a step down, design-wise. They're very of-the-moment design, which ends up feeling kind of dated quickly. While, Adidas has been stepping up their design game as of late.

I think Adidas has just move towards designs that look like Nike's.

I like Morey's moves so far this year. Even Prigs. If anything, it was a non-essential move LAST season that helped doom us in the post season. We never should have traded away Aaron Brooks. Brooks should have been the SG off the bench to play alongside Lin. He should have gotten minutes over Garcia and Troy Daniels.

Would have loved to have Brooks right now. As good as Terry has been, Brooks is the better player and so much younger.

Adidas has been the biggest contributor to the terrible looking jerseys!

They've been poaching people from the swoosh in the last couple of years, but they're doing some pretty interesting stuff (versus pushing out retros).

IMO for jerseys you need to be able to walk the line of feeling current and iconic at the same time. I think Nike does that pretty well with their jersey designs. UA hasn't been able to do the iconic stuff yet.
