Thank God we got Wilfork! Just posted what I read on the radio website; thank God it was wrong. Wilfork (if he's got something in the tank, and if contract is good) can be huge next to JJ! Excited like you brotha!
If he had written a post saying Wilfork was doubtful, that would be one thing. That isn't what he said. He said Wilfork had left Houston, the Texans were out and that Wilfork was choosing between NE, Indy, and Baltimore. He was wrong on all three counts. Here's what happened. John Lopez figured that Wilfork wasn't happening and he decided to try to be the one to get the breaking news credit.
Well if John Lopez is a dog then it's pretty impressive for him to tweet. Kinda hard to be too critical of him.
That was such a fail by Lopez. When I was listening to him on the way to work, I was wondering why he was so adamant about the Texans being out of the race...when the other guys asked "why?"...his response was that it was because Wilfork left town without signing a deal. Didnt make sense, but I was disappointed nonetheless.
What makes that hilarious is that he DIDN'T leave town. I think Lopez got confused. He saw the stories last night that he was here for his trip and when he didn't sign last night Lopez figured that meant he left without a contract. He then decided to be like a good clutchfans insider and claim he had a source telling him this so he could get insider credit. Turns out he missed the most important detail: Two Day Trip

I like Petty but I think he should drop to the second. If anything they can draft BPA in the first and then depending on how much they like him trade back into the end of the first to draft Petty. But the fact that they have three QBs on the roster already makes me doubtful of the rumor
Love these moves. Nothing splashy but quietly building an all-around team with quality at every position. BoB's vision is coming to fruition IMO.
