I think that last win broke whatever mental dam was going on in there, he just played more freely this game.

Pat has a solid game mostly because he defended Paul well enough and has a couple of hustle plays. Wish he would hit those wiiiiide open 3s though. Also when he went ISO back to back at the end of the 4th dribbling the clock away to hoist up 2 contested 3s was awful.

I was at the game and it was a great experience! My girlfriend and I chanted MVP every time James went to the free throw line and heckled Jordan every time he was at the free throw line.

I haven't seen the Rockets play in person in about a decade (since I moved away from Houston) so needless to say I had a great time!

I will definitely be at the Staples Center if the Rox play the Clippers in the playoffs!

I was not expecting a win, wow.

This win almost makes up for the loss against Utah on Thursday.

That was painful hearing 2 of the worst coaches being mic'd up. Like they were coaching southpaw fighters.

I have no clue what Harden did since the Portland / Utah game. BUT GOOD JOB. Came out with a much faster pace then he had in the last couple games.

Just got to watch it now... absolutely lost it laughing when Griffin went charging into Ariza like an idiot and sat there complaining about it

Matt Barnes should be suspended 1 game. Man I really hate that thug-a** clown. The back of Harden's head smacked and ricocheted off the hardwood pretty good from that bush-league body slam. And I really hate to do this, but if no one else will then....hey, if that was Curry or any of the other NBA untouchable darlings, then it would have been an easy Flagrant 2 ejection. Maybe you could argue Harden got a superstar deference against Lebron with his Flagrant 1, but what is Matt Barnes other than a perpetual punk? League should come back and dock Mr. "Guaranteed to be broke by 40" Barnes 1 game.

I'm also interested in seeing the last 2 minute report. Just for validation on that great charge take (CC) and ignoring Griffin's flop (CNC). Also it doesn't matter how close Paul is friend-wise with his Team USA brothers, that guy always turns into a whiny sore loser at the end of tight games when the W is slipping away from him. That stand-over intimidation stare down after shoulder-tackling Harden should have gotten a T.

Going into L.A. Staples Center and taking 1 away from the Clippers on their home court w/ Griffin back and Howard still out is a huge victory. Those guys straight up owned us last year, and they were very smug about it. You could tell we simply out-gunned them with our depth. That's the main difference. That and Harden is a changed man.

I only saw the highlights. The refs clearly showed their bias against us by not taking any action against Griffin for slamming into Brewer, and the Barnes throw down against Harden. Paul acted like a thug too.

There have been so many games in which a small brush against a player has resulted in a foul and sometimes a flagrant 1. I am glad no one got hurt, and that we had the last laugh.

I was very happy to see Ariza driving and finishing at the rim, Bev looked good out there with his floater and more importantly with his passing. Great to see the Beard, having a strong comeback game.

    Go Houston Rockets!

If Barnes doesn't commit that flagrant foul, Rockets lose this one in a sleepwalk. It was a game-changing play that woke the Rockets up.

I'm glad it happened since Harden was not hurt. Rockets needed it.

I agree. The loss of Blake really impacted them imo. Him just coming back is an adjustment for the team. Clips usually kill us when they play at home since they acquired Chris Paul. It's nice to see us win one out there for once.

We almost blew it, though. And, that is concerning how we have blown leads in the 4th even while we somehow hold on to win mainly because of Harden. Those games can go either way but it seems like we've won most of those this season.

It seems like one of our guys need to be fouled hard for the team's competitive instincts to kick in and we start to play better together.

It happened in the CLE game; it happened again last night.

Me and my friend at lunch said the same thing. However, we talked about Bev always seem to play better when he is heated.

surprising win. i'm glad we actually played tough. Not to mention tough on national tv. Only person that seemed intimidated by the Clips and their play, was Dmo.
