How will McHale manage his minutes? How will his minutes impact the play of DMo and TJones? What kind of production should we expect? Will he take us to another level or are the numbers true? Does Dwight's presence have little to no impact when it comes to the W/L column?

He will help us tremendously, no doubt. His presence in the paint for rebounding, defense, and offense are what we truly need the most. We lacked that in a lot of games without him.

Hoping he returns on Tuesday vs. the Magic.

We desperately need his rebounding and defense. When Harden is off/locked down, THEN we could try and throw it in to him and see what he can create. It'll take the load off of Harden.

Most of Dwight's impact on those statistics was done early on before Smith settled in to the rotation and before TJones returned. How do you see that factoring in? Someone's role will have to be reduced. Either TJ or DMo.

I think about his season averages honestly.

Best case scenario is something like 18/12/2bl.

I sure hope he's feeling good because when healthy he is a decent post threat which attracts attention, opening up things for others.

This thread isn't about those two, but the answer is DMo...easily.

I don't know if he is overworked or overextended, but it is plain to see that his impact on both sides of the court has suffered. If he can get back to his paint production, the bench brigade will undoubtedly do a great job of feeding him.

That is truly an amazing clip. I have seen it many, many times, but still can't get my head around it.

I hope Howard listens to what the Front Office/Coaching Staff wants and focuses on rebounding, protecting the paint and finishing easy buckets off passes/offensive rebounds aka be better versions of DeAndre Jordan or Tyson Chandler.

If he can accept his strengths and go away from his weaknesses of posting up all the time, we have a real shot at winning the title. If his insist on taking possessions up by posting up, its a 1st or 2nd round exit.

He can have 5 post ups a game, give or take depending on the effectiveness.

I hope he can comeback and give us 30 mpg and 17ppg, 13rpg, 2bpg

I've seen it a bunch of times myself. You know what trips me out, solid? Those ships were "leftovers" from WWII. There's a big carrier right in the middle of that fleet, the Saratoga. My father served on it for a stretch during the war. That atomic bomb didn't immediately sink her, either. It took a while. She was a tough ship. The Navy and the Defense Department wanted to see what an a-bomb would do to a fleet. I guess they found out. ;-)-

Have we confirmed that Dwight's return is around the corner? Where is this coming from?

If he can just be that big presence in the paint as a defensive anchor and as a defensive rebounder, we could beat almost any team. You know that Dwight will do that, but how much will he commit to the PnR? How many touches in the post will he defer? I know the defensive impact of D12, and his impact on the boards, but i'm still unsure about offense.

He says he feels more explosive than at any other point in the season, so hopefully he'll come back strong. With Dwight on page, this team's ceiling is out the roof.

Theirs 24 min a piece for each guy in everything was even, Which it is not as we all know. So let's say Dwight and tj start, With dmo back up center and smith pf. I think Howard gets 28-30 min dmo gets 22 min. Tjones gets 30-32 min smith gets 18-20 min.

If dwights even as good as the first 10 games of the season we have no doubt the most talented and skilled bigman rotation in the playoffs no doubt. Couple that with mvp harden and we hit a serious chance of coming out the west. But a healthy 20/12/2 dwight is what we need to get it done. Anything less and we are really kidding ourselves, money brought him in to be hardens number 2 and he has to produce as the guy we know he is.

I want the Dwight from the begging of the year. Fully bracing myself for the Dwight that came back from the first string of games missed.

its already too late, just bring him in 20-25mpg for 4 or 5 games then bump it to 35ish. dont need a 100% dwight to finish with a top 4 seed

I don't know if he'll be totally healthy. If he is, then he should be top-15 level player. DPOY + just offensive boards and dunks all over the place. If he cannot return fully healthy, I predict he'll be more of a DeAndre Jordan type presence.

Either way, we'd be a much better team.
