Maybe? It's hard to say with Wilfork because he's old and fat. He'd probably make running up the middle more difficult, but he's not the Vince Wilfork of yesterday. That's part of the reason I wouldn't be over the top happy about him coming here. Sure it would be better than what we had probably, but he's still old and fat so he could fall off quickly and become worthless in a hurry.

If he chooses to join the retirement village in Indy it'll be a bummer, but that's about it.

 

Vince went to Miami and Gore has already been recruiting him... The Texans may have to overpay to get Vince if they want him.

 

We will see what the truth is when he picks. If he picks Houston at 2 years 10 million I wouldn't be surprised at all.

 

Well he played with Vrabel and for Crennel, so it's not like we don't have a connection with him. Plus his agent is one of his best friends and lives in Houston.

Yea and AJ, Gore, and Wilfork won a title together in Miami... Chuck Pagano was on that Miami coaching staff as well.

But if the Texans are offering two years $10 million that may do it.

 

Yeah he can go to the retirement village in Indy or come here and play next to the best defensive player in the game with a coaching staff he respects. Either way I'm not really worried what he picks. If he comes here I'll hope he has something left.

Wouldnt it be nice if he signed here and got in the best shape of his life just to prove to the Patriots they screwed up? Not likely but possible if he's motivated.
