No. That's Billy Ray "Rojo" Johnson. They look a lot alike.

I remember good ol' Rojo. I was at his lone appearance for Round Rock. What a wasted talent.

Yea, I remember when all of this was first talked about Crane talking about a 36 hole golf course that was part of the whole deal. Didn't realize he already owned that.

I travel to Orlando every summer and play a LOT of golf in the Kissimmee area. Was just wondering if the new facility was gonna have golf courses attached or not as I know there are not nearly as many courses in that area as the Orlando area

He owns the Floridian National Golf course that is about 30 minutes north of the location for the new spring facility.

I actually meant "this season". Quite an effective Freudian slip.

Springers oppo power really is a sight to behold. Even when he's late on a pitch he can power it out with ease.

Springer is gonna kill it this year, reminds me a little of Stanton.

Looks like McHugh finally came back down to earth a little today.

His metrics suggest that he deserved to have those numbers last year.

So Asher Wojciechowski has thrown 9 scoreless frames to open up his spring training.

I would say he is currently the favorite for the 5th spot. Deduno has been really good as well, and I still think the team would prefer Straily win the job.

If Wojo and Deduno have similar springs, I think the team would give the job the Woj with Deduno in the pen. Although of the 3, Woj would be the easiest guy to send back to AAA.

Yeah, I'm hoping it was just a bad day or he was working on a certain pitch or something and not worrying as much about getting guys out. You never really know with spring training what they are trying to do on the mound, especially the guys that aren't really competing for a spot.

I remember one Spring Training Shane Reynolds had a bad outing, then got cut shortly thereafter. In an interview he said he wasn't trying to get guys out, was not aware he was fighting for a roster spot, and was only trying to tighten up his curve ball, as is commonly the case for veteran pitchers during Spring Training. That's the only instance I can remember where pitching that way cost a veteran his job.
