Some valid points that are relevant and are among the many reasons why EPL is the most popular league. It's not just one reason, there are many. As for the second paragraph. Of course it matters. Same point, one of the many reasons that the EPL is the most popular league. Drop the peabrain logic. "No, it's because of this reason". It's not hard at all, just put some more thought into it. Can it be more to it? But damn, even the easiest things in the world is too complex for some people...
Teams like Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea all have large global presenceses whereas nearly a large majority of latinos are either Real or Barca supporters because of the common language.
The only one here with a peabrain is the guy who thinks he needs to bring that kind of tone into this friendly thread for football enthusiasts. Sounds like someone who is dealing with a lot of frustration in his life.
Liga's been the best league for a deent amount of years now and it sadly gets lost because of Barca and Real overshadowing everything. Spanish teams have been powerhouses in CL and EL for a while now and are far superior to EPL. Bundesliga is catching up though, slowly.
They're already 10th in the league and will continue to climb up, definitely won't fall to relegation.
I don't think Dortmund will get any further. No relegation, but no Europe either. The offense is very one-dimensional, the defense dependent on a single player. Yesterday Köln didn't even look like they need to make an effort to shut them down. Dortmund is good to go on a special game like on Wednesday versus Juventus, but look dry on daily's business. And I don't expect them to be a contender next year.
Köln is fantastic on the defensive end this season, difficult to scored against them. Think Dortmund will finish 8th,overtaking Frankfurt and Bremen, as those are too inconsistent and dort have enough quality. Agree that Dortmund is really one-dimensional and won't be a contender next season.
City are in poor form and have been for about the past month now. i think the home defeat to Barca really hurt them as unlike last year they took it to Barca and were playing to win, but with the 2 strikers they weren't able to hold any type of meaningful possession in the midfield and thus couldn't sustain any sort of attack. I hope we only play Aguero up top in the replay and start Zabaleta/Koralov/Kompany/Mangala on defense. We are going to need 5 midfield to give us the best chance at better possession which hopefully leads to a couple chances for Aguero that he can deliver on.
we are playing like crap, halftime can not come fast enough ughh. Top 4 and winning the FA Cup would be amazing considering where we were around the beginning of the year.
It's setting up to be an exciting end to the EPL season the way the current table is. Second and fifth spot is all up for grabs. 1. Chelsea - 64 pts 2. Man City - 58 pts 3. Arsenal - 57 pts 4. Man Utd - 56 pts 5. Liverpool - 54 pts 6. Southampton - 50 pts 7. Tottenham - 50 pts Will ManU make the playoffs?
Atletico-Leverkusen nearing penatly shootout, oh boy. Proud of Leverkusen, no matter what happens now.
